Geography
The Ghost Caves are very near to Caldar Mountain, a large mountain in the Narbi region of Terael. Around the base of this great mountain, there are vast forests of blue-leaved trees. These are the forests of Nak Aravaa. The Minemi kin'toni Clan and Diwarale Kin'toni Clan go here to hunt the prey for food. Beyond that are the plains of Kona'te. These are vast plains that have silver-coloured grasses that grow to around six feet tall. The Ghost Caves are very large and go for many miles underground. The cave entrance is a small and almost hidden hole on the side of the mountain.
This hole leads to a long passage that goes on for around half a mile and then splits into five passageways. The first passageway goes on for around a mile before splitting into another three passageways that lead deeper into the caves. The second passageway, after around three miles, leads into a large round cave that is around three hundred feet around. This cave is the main meeting place for the kin'toni that live here. They keep some large cave beetles and cave worms here for food in makeshift pens. It has many smaller passageways leading off it that lead into smaller caves.
The third passageway goes on for around a mile and leads into a load of small caves that are used as the main living places for the clan. It has many small campfires made by the kin'toni that live here. They have made crude huts out of bones and large insect chitin. The fourth passageway leads to a cave used by the clan for their religious uses. The fifth passageway leads to a load of caves that are used by the clan to dump their dead in. The Ghost Caves are connected to Caldar Mountain by a low stone passageway, now blocked up, called the Tah Anah. This is low stone passageway was mined out many years ago.
It is now blocked up and both sides are guarded by kin'toni from the Diwarale kin'toni Clan on the Caldar Mountainside and the Minemi kin'toni Clan on the Ghar Anaroth Caves side. There are many ways out of the caves that lead to many nearby and even some farther away regions. One very long passageway leads to the Badarval Canyon region. This passageway is called the Tahbi Passage. It slopes up for around three miles before opening out high on the east side around a third of the way north from the start of the Bloodriver Canyon. There are paths leading from the way into the caves and down into the Canyon
Plants
All of the plants in this region can live without much in the way of light or food, but they need much water to live. One of the plants in this region is called the hayt anku plant. It grows to around a foot tall and its roots go out to around ten feet around it. It grows up the cave walls in thick mats, It has tiny frilly leaves that are silvery in colour. This low-growing plant has moderate-sized pointed round leaves that are white in colour. It has numerous moderate-sized dark rose six-petaled flowers.
