History

The Dynsban clan started as a group of outcasts from other clans. They sought refuge at the base of a volcano where the clans they ran away from would find to dangerous just to search for some outcasts. The union of Dynsban. Built upon the rare soils, war and sacrifices of its past, this union is now among the most unproductive clans in its corner of the world. Their export, public health and public safety are among its current greatest strengths. Unfortunately, they lack a lot in medicine and infrastructure.

The people of Dynsban are bitter. They live rough lives, but while food production is really lacking, their fuel production helps relief some of their issues. Their fuel production, literacy and natural resources are among its current greatest strengths. Unfortunately, they lack a lot in food production and income. Their life expectancy, hygiene and fuel production are among its current greatest strengths. Nevertheless, they lack a little in public safety and trade.

Their first leader, Hoku Nakiri was an aggressive kin'toni whose hatred and violence kept the clan together. After getting captured in a battle with zu'aan soldiers, his brother, Koku Nakiri claimed his brother’s position with equal ferociousness. Clan Dynsban is ferocious, capable and well organized, and its power is strong thanks to the brutal Nakiri family who has been ruling over Dynsban clan with a iron spear for two and half centuries.

Their family heirloom is indeed a steel spear forged in the times of the great empire. It can penetrate any armour and whenever thrown it will not stop flying until its owner orders the spear to stop and return to the hands of his master. Just like Dynit, Dynsban also uses their family heirloom as a tool of justice. A criminal will be pierced with it through his heart. They were once really great and respected among all the clans, but that has changed since the times of great Nakiri leaders.

The founder of Dynsban, Hoku Nakiri never gave up in front of oppression, but his followers were different. They indeed did give up in the face of oppression and did not care much for justice. Their history is full of blood, hate and oppression. It is indeed a wonder that Dynsban clan has survived so far without crumbling into warring groups. Nowadays their violence has subdued somewhat, because the last great Nakiri leader died four generations ago and current leaders are somewhat scared. Nevertheless violence and bloodlust has kept this clan together.

Biology

Like any other kin'toni, their eyes have red irises with black sclerae and horizontal slit pupils. Dynsban kin'toni males are average, fairly muscular and strong. Females are not as strong or tall as their male counterparts, but they can still kill a man with bare hands. Male heights vary between 180 to 195 cm, and females are about 15 cm shorter than their male counterparts on average. Male weight 70 to 100 kg whereas females are one fourth lighter than their male counterparts.

Both males and females have light purplish skin and blonde or brown hairs. Dynsban are resistant to cold to a certain degree. They have well developed teeth with long, elongated fangs perfect for biting on the necks of unsuspecting zu'aan. Unlike other kin'toni, their teeth grow extremely fast if they are broken, so Dynsban are not that careful with their teeth. Brown or blonde, curly hair clumsily hangs over a full, ferocious face. Tribal marks in the form of 2 stripes under their left eye marks their heritage but, more importantly leaves an amusing memory of reclaimed honor among Dynsban clansmen.

There is something bizarre about him, perhaps it's his sense of humor or perhaps it's simply his sense of honor. But nonetheless, people tend to socialize with him, while hoping their sons will grow up to be like him. Their heads are normal sized compared to the rest of their bodies, thereby making them fairly intelligent among other kin'toni. In fact, one could say that Dynsban are even cunning. Therefore, their clan has managed to keep a bit more than two hundred members among its ranks.

Because they do not lack intelligence, communicating with them is not an issue for other kin'toni. At least in theory. Reality is that their violent nature scares almost every other type of kin'toni away from them. Their reputation as ruthless blood suckers is really widespread because Dynsban drink both zu'aan and kin'toni blood. Dynsban kin'toni make and utilize stone tools, such as hatchets and knives. They hunt using pears, and their main fighting weapons is also a spear.

Their regular sized hands are nimble enough to produce useful stone tools and they do not avoid putting effort into making those said tools. They drink blood from both nourishment and for celebrations. Unlike other kin'toni, they drink blood not after ripping the head off their prey, be it a deer or an unfortunate human, but after biting into their necks. They use utensils and plates, so offering a glass of blood to a Dynsban would not end up getting you killed. But it would still be dangerous.

So, they appreciate a good, bloody glass of pure blood and bloody meat.

Culture

In the clan of Dynsban it is tradition for people to place plates of food outside their doors once a year. It is supposed to be a symbol of strength and confidence and it is usually part of a religious ritual or festivity that can last for up to a week. In the remote areas of Dynsban territory it is tradition to make a newborn baby hold the hands of both its parents. It is supposed to be a most fortunate blessing.

Dynsban clan members wear leather trousers and leather jackets with no gender differences. Both males and females wear what they can find, and clothes are usually inherited by the offspring. In the realm of Dynsban it is tradition for people to create and then destroy homemade effigies once a year. It is supposed to be a symbol of independence and trust and its usually part of a spiritual ritual or festivity that can last for several days.

One of their tradition is to make sure the recently deceased are always touched by sunlight or candle light. It is supposed to prevent the spirit of the deceased to become attached to this world.Despite having moderate cold resistance, they still wear warm clothes. Only during the worst heat, a Dynsban might humble enough to wear a simple hide fur, but that is only if he or she has to travel during the heatwave. No matter what, the clan keeps clothing in high regard.

Clothing plays another role too, because during marriage they tend to reveal deep secrets of a couple on their wedding day. It's supposed to bless the new life of the married couple. As mentioned earlier, Dynsban do grow new teeth when their current one breaks, and fairly rapidly. Therefore, their teeth are used for decorations for them. One could imagine that a broken tooth would be a valuable item for a Dynsban, but reality is quite the contrary. They grow their broken teeth in a day or two and thus a broken tooth is regarded as non-valuable rubbish.

Unfortunately, Dynsban lacks a lot in fuel efficiency and natural resources. Dynsban is a tribalistic clan. There are no opposing groups against the current leadership and there hasn't been for a long time. However, the current greatest threat to the nation is the rise of drugs, but the current leadership is supported by other nations to solve this issue. They have a brutal custom of killing criminals with the Steel Spear. Piercing the heart of the criminal works as a good deterrent in that brutal clan.

This brutal custom is obviously lethal for the one being punished, because Dynsban members are not immortal after all. But the pierced heart is usually given to the family of the condemned as a shameful memory and it is common for the family members to commit suicide after that. The reason for this is not that they cannot withstand the sorrow but that other clan members will avoid the family for at least a generation.

Government

Dynsban is a violent clan union. There are no real opposing groups against the current leadership, but all this could change in a second. There are barely any opposing groups against the current leadership, and these could grow into bigger, more serious problems. However, the current greatest threat to the nation is a failed harvest, but the current leadership is willing to sacrifice a lot to solve this issue. Their clan’s Steel Spear works as a perfect deterrent for the possible rebels that lurk underground.

Nobody in their right mind would challenge the current Nakiri leader. Of course rebellions have arisen, but they were subdued in an efficient and bloody manner, with kin'toni blood filling the cups of the Nakiri rulers.Currently leading Nakiri ruler, Nossuratu Nakiri is a strong and capable kin'toni with developed mind, good height and the weight of an strong man. He has two lieutenants, named the Right hand and the Right Arm and also a regent, the Spare Nakiri. Traditionally the regent is the ruler’s heir, and Nossuratu has a son waiting to get the throne form his father.

Rumours tell that his son is bidding his time to overthrow his father at the first sign of weakness. They do have elections but not democracy. Everything is decided by their leader during the times of battle, be it good or bad. Even if their leader fails and ends up getting one third of the clan killed, they still will not blame him. And as a matter of fact, such an incident never happened so far, but if it did, it could mean the end of the clan. Only their ferocity has kept them from total annihilation.

Clan members have elections regarding trivial decisions such as communal hunting and starting a war, but during the battle nobody can subdue the leader’s might. Their first leader, Hoku Nakiri was an strong and violent kin'toni whose cunning and ferociousness kept the clan together. After getting captured in a battle with zu'aan soldiers, his brother, Koku Nakiri claimed his brother’s position with equal ferociousness. Clan Dynsban is ferocious, capable and well organized, and its power is strong thanks to the brutal Nakiri family who has been ruling over Dynsban clan with a steel spear for two and half centuries.

That steel spear is quite a literal weapon of justice. That way nobody dares to question the authority of the leaders.

And that iron fist if quite literal because every leader of Dynsban carries their family heirloom, a sharpened stick with a stone tip made from strong oak. It is usually renewed after a child is born. For the Dynsban it is tradition for men to prepare a special meal once they're a certain age. It's supposed to be a symbol of maturity and independence and it's usually part of a coming of age ritual or festivity that can last for days. That way they celebrate their origins.

Military

The ground trembles as an army of 200 Dynsban warriors move as if a single being. Each step in unison with the others, leaving only scores of tracks in its wake, a clear sign for anybody passing by. Up close it's the sound of light armor rubbing against their strong arms which overpowers all other sounds. The thumping steps of the strong Dynsban warriors can be heard only faintly and the growls of the war tigers are all but drowned out completely.

Virtually all soldiers are talking despite the noise around them. Laughter is a common sight, many soldiers seem to be looking forward to the battle ahead. The army lacks unity, but despite their differences they do share the same goal: Crush the enemy, enjoy it while it lasts and make it out alive. The front is led by eager charge units armed with huge stone maces and axes. They are followed by lighter warriors armed with spears and large shields, who in turn are followed by elite slingers with high precision aim.

The ranks are filled with many other regiments, including younger warriors, as well as slave soldiers, including several shock units, units of war animals and even war priests. Despite all that they never fight together but as separate warriors. They do not care for their wounded clan members. Rushing into the enemy, no matter how overwhelming it is, is their true weakness. Dynsban clan is not extremely skilled in the art of warfare. On the other hand, they are good at individual fighting.

So, one could claim that every member of the Dynsban family is a natural born warrior, and that would hit pretty close to the actual truth. Calling Dynsban clan members “warriors” is more descriptive because they never fight under a coherent leadership. Getting as many brutal kills as possible and breaking as many enemy bones as they can, a fighting Dynsban group is a scary sight to behold for the inexperienced eyes. An attacking group of Dynsban screaming in war cries is enough to break even a trained regiment of battle-hardened zu'aan soldiers.

A Dynsban warrior use weapons when they fight. Albeit primitive, it has great effect on their own morale. Facing your enemy’s sharp, metallic weapons with your stone weapons and leather armor elevates the Dynsban to a sense of superiority which makes them even more fearless and blood lusting. Their rules have utilized the Steel Spear few times during battle, but never to change its course. Despite their ferocious nature and the waste they lay on the battlefield, there is one surprising attribute that one would never expect from a group of violent and brutal warriors.

That is the lack of compassion. A Dynsban could leave their dead in the battlefield, and severely wounded combatants are usually trampled to death. Their value for life is pretty shallow, and the leading family has made no efforts to change that.

Religion

Religion holds no importance in their lives and, if anything, has made them more intrepid. The people of Dynsban are not spiritual at all either and they rely more on what they know will work and their experience. Dynsban clan has a vast selection of prayers, despite the lack of faith they have in the clan. this could be explained by the religious influence their forefathers bore on them during the times of the Empire itself. One of the prayers is the following.

"Exalted spirit, creator of all that is good, I have sinned in a moment of weakness. I had a terrible lapse in judgment, I craved wealth and let greed get the better of me. Clear my soul of darkness, brighten the darkness in my soul. Allow me to repent so I may feel the warmth of your light once more." Their prayers and traditions and vast and colourful.

"Most esteemed Mother, ruler of heaven and Earth, I beg you to hear my prayer. Watch over me so I might step out of the shadows. I ask this of you in your eternal presence, o divine shepherd. Glorify me with your glorious wisdom. Almighty Father, ever-living creator, I have a confession to make for I have sinned. I failed you, my anger turned to an uncontrollable rage. I beg your forgiveness, unburden me of this pain. Punish me as you see fit so I may bask in your glory anew.

Sacred Mother, protector of souls, I come to you to confess my sins. I was foolish, my anger turned to an uncontrollable rage. Forgive me for my flaws, absolve me of these demons. Cast your judgment so I may live in your glory afresh" To show gratitude towards their forefathers, it is tradition for men to fast for a period of time once they become adults. It is supposed to be a symbol of decisiveness and generosity and it is usually part of a larger ceremony that can last for up to a week.

Whenever they can, they urge men to dress up in traditional clothing on the first full moon of the year. It's supposed to be a symbol of creativity and compassion and it is usually part of a coming-of-age ritual or festivity that can last for several days. One other powerful prayer they have is the following. "Infinite spirit, beacon of my life, I ask of you in my burdened hour. Show me the way so I may strengthen my resolve. I plead this of you completely at your mercy, o eternal flame.

Glorify me with your gracious light. Glorious Mother, ruler of heaven and Earth, I come to you in my time of need. Cleanse my spirit so I may lighten my encumbrance. I beg this of you as your devout follower, o righteous creator. Bless me with your infinite soul. Celestial master, bringer of all that is good, I beg you to hear my prayer. Cleanse my mind so I might soothe my inner turmoil. I seek this of you in your divine presence, o eternal light. Grace me with your illustrious favour."

Miscellany

Usually, kin'toni clans have laws and rules that they have written but do not follow. Dynsban is not an exception in that regard. Laws such as a law that dictates all those found guilty of forgery of government documents will face the punishment of a moderate term exile is not really obeyed but still mentioned. Clan laws such as law that dictates all those found guilty of buying or selling endangered animal parts will face the punishment of loss of civil privileges.
