Geography

The geography of the Xawdrapol Clayland can be divided into two eras, before the Ran'yer and after the Ran'yer. Before the Ran'yer Kin'toni Clan, the place was the home for several hidden zu'aan, they built their city with time and need, while the Ran'yer built their city as they wished to. Before the Ran'yer, there was almost nothing on the surface, hills and hills of clay, with hidden entrances to the cave systems. But the miens were carefully carved into the dirt, with spots for torches, and open hallways. That zu'aan tribe transformed their maze of clay into a place they could call a village, a home.

They used several entrances, almost everyone was aware of how to locate themselves inside the system. But the main entrance was hidden between two small hills of clay. When the mines were working, this entrance was used as the safe exit of the place, with a wooden door blocking it. When the zu'aan arrived, the door was covered by clay and they had to clean it, with time they built a cave around it, making it so it would not draw attention. Nowadays the Ran'yer Kin'toni Clan doesn't use this entrance, as they are still not aware of it.

The clan divides their home into five levels; The first level is their city, the place where they gather to rule and where they keep cattle and zu'aan prisoners and where they have social meetings, alongside some workstations. All the other levels are divided between housing, working stations and communal areas. The last level, where the underground water is located, is known for the machinery built by the clan. They were able to build a receptor of water, they do not treat it, recognizing the water was good to drink, despite the colour, using this water to treat their cattle and feed their zu'aan.

In the working stations, it is possible to find people threading fabrics, mining, blacksmiths and more. The only workstation located in the outside city is the woodwork, as it is not worth bringing the wood inside in huge chunks. As the underground levels were almost all ready for them to move in, most of their housing is the same as in the era before the Ran'yer Kin'toni Clan, very simple buildings, with a focus on having a private life inside the clan, as they care for their personal space and intimate moments.

Outside the city, it is possible to find several hills of deposits of clay, and as the place was forgotten by the huge companies, a lot of nature came back to the clayland, this includes vegetation and wildlife, creating almost a forest around the city.

Plants

The plants located in the Xawdrapol Clayland can be separated into two bits, above the ground and underground. Many plants in this biome actually have longer roots, reaching the underground. These plants have been used by zu'aan tribes and the Ran'yer Kin'toni Clan for years, for different and similar reasons. The first plant to be known is the sebrop, this plant is one of those with longer roots. The sebrop is actually a type of tree, with roots reaching up to 800 meters down in the ground. The roots of the sebrop could be used by the zu'aan clans as a firm vegetable, that they would normally boil and eat.

This still happens, as the kin'toni clan feeds their zu'aan prisoners, by giving them said boiled root with meats. While the clan gathers the sebrop wood by cutting its branches, as the trunk is too wide and strong to be cut, the branches are more malleable, while still strong. Another tree located in the biome is the uppell, with a hard type of wood, it takes a red colouring with a shade of white inside, because of the clay deposits. This tree is cut by the clan and was also used by the zu'aan before them. The Ran'yer Kin'toni Clan uses this wood to build their most important buildings while using the sebrop wood for minor projects.

This way, their city takes a deep red and faded white colouring, as the wood tends to darken with time. While above the ground, it is possible to find several bushes with edible berries that used to be eaten by the zu'aan, with fruit trees and vegetables. One of these vegetables is the voweer, which is used by the clan to treat wounds. By cutting the voweer, the plant releases a dark liquid with the consistency of goo, that can be spread on the wounds. This was a technique also used by the zu'aan. The voweer can also be eaten. The halent is a grass-type of plant, with short sharp blades.

These blades started being used by the kin'toni for decoration for their weapons, which made them realize the baneful chemistry of the plant. If the plant is spread upon an open wound, it will most likely sicken the victim, fastly killing them. Given this, the kin'toni started spreading the mashed leaves on their weapons in any given case of a battle with nearby clans or other kin'toni invaders.

Animals

There is a huge variety of creatures in the Xawdrapol Clayland, most of them above the ground, while some do dwell underground, but were driven away by the kin'toni.

These animals are;

The luggam, which is a type of four-footed mammal, native to other places than only this biome, this creature is known for being a great meal for zu'aan, as the meat tends to be tender and tasty. Given this knowledge, the Ran'yer Kin'toni Clan keeps the creature as cattle for their zu'aan prisoners. The creature was also tamed by the kin'toni, and given its size, around 180kg of pure strength, the creature is used for transporting cargo around the city. The fur of the luggam can also be shaved and turned into threads, that can be turned into rope or fabric, which is used by the clan for clothing.

The luggam is the only animal the clan keeps as cattle for this purpose, as the other animal, called edilly, is used by the clan member as a second source of blood. The clan tends to care well for their zu'aan prisoners, but sometimes the blood of the zu'aan is not enough to feed the entire clan, so they tend to drain the edilly's blood and mix it with their stock of zu'aan blood, diluting the zu'aan blood but keeping it at a good consistency and not losing the taste of zu'aan. As a fact, the clan tried this with the water from the underground river, with an insane idea that maybe the river was red because of blood. This idea was quickly disregarded.

Another creature that can be found around the clayland and the woods around it is the uloch. This creature is actually the "responsible" for a legend that goes around the biome and used to be folklore in the area. The uloch is a ten feet tall creature, with fur and structures on its back similar to wings, the creature is four-footed and can't fly, but it is common to see it sitting on two-foot or standing tall to pick fruits on trees. Ulochs are very peaceful and only attack if afraid, which was not known by the zu'aan living in the area. The fear of this weird looking creature was enough to create stories and legends about a monster hiding in the shadows of the underground.

This is not correct, as the uloch does not live underground, these creatures actually prefer to lay under the sun during lazy days, eating only plants. As the Ran'yer Kin'toni Clan spent more time in this place, they got to know better the wildlife located in it, learning more about the uloch, there are some stories in the clan, completely different from the ones created by the zu'aan, that call the creature the "friendly giant".

Still in the Xawdrapol Clayland it is possible to find several lizards living above and under the ground, one of those is the gofact, a quirk looking lizard with soft green scales, that normally hides within the blades of grass in the biome. The clan learned about this creature almost at the same time they learned about the blades, as they used to gather and harvest as many halent as they could. As this creature is also peaceful, sometimes the kin'toni will just allow them to live inside the city, almost like pets.
