History

The Luserkel clan had always been a well-advanced clan. They were smart and proficient in various topics, always ensuring that they were moving forward with their clan. There were times when they would drop everything to make sure that they were advancing. The clan had always prided themselves on ensuring they were more advanced than the other clans around them. They would frequently go around to see what other clans were doing, and what they had. In doing this, they were able to see what the other clans had, and they would be able to go back to their own village and change what they wanted to.

While the other clans knew they were doing this, they didn’t stop the Luserkel clan. it seemed like something they did often, and it didn’t hurt the other clans. What other clans didn’t like about the Luserkel clan was that they would take their new information and they would sell it back to other clans. They were quite persuasive when doing so, and by the time the other clans realized what happened, they had bought information they didn’t really need. Since the Luserkel clan kept themselves advanced, they had found a way to attach a cart to some of the animals that frequented their forest. They were tall animals, and they were easy to tame with some of the leaves and fruit that grew on the trees and bushes around them.

They were able to get the animals to trust them, and so they were able to ride them, and would attach their carts to them. They did this so that they could take their crops to where they needed to go. As well, they would use the carts to take their members to meetings with other clans, or they would carry their injured military members back from the battlefield. When they used their carts, they could see that there were other clans that looked envious of them. They would intentionally parade them around so that the other clans would ask about them and would eventually have their tricks sold to them.

While it was simple how they did it, they were able to sell their tricks for top dollar. With everything they did, they made sure they had interested buyers. This was how they were able to fund their clans’ advancements, and in doing so were able to do as they pleased as a clan. They were unusually happy as they had always seemed to get what they wanted. They would work for what they had, but they were also able to invent what they wanted, so long as they had the money to buy the materials they needed. They had been able to fund their clan on the selling of their information, and because of that, they were able to remain more optimistic about how they were able to invent different things.

No matter what happened, they were able to remain optimistic. This was something that other clans were envious of.

Psychology

Since they were so optimistic all the time, the Luserkel clan were able to make things that would help their clan succeed. They believed that if they were happy, they would have good thoughts, and thus they would be able to invent more things. This was something they were able to continue for many years, remaining happy and optimistic no matter what happened. It turned out that this was what set this clan apart from the other clans around them. They would be looked upon with envy as they would take the darkest situations and see the light in them.

As well, the Luserkel clan believed that because they were able to advance well as a clan, that they were better other clans. They thought that they were the best of the best regardless of how the other clans thought of them. They were incredibly vain and would talk about themselves like they were the greatest kin’toni to ever live. They genuinely believed this, and it was the reason that they were unable to hold many partnerships with other clans. Since they were so vain, they would talk about themselves as if they were so amazing, and in doing so the other clans wouldn’t want to be associated with them.

While this would be something that other clans wouldn’t like, the Luserkel clan embraced that they weren’t liked by everyone. They liked that they didn’t have the same effect on every clan, as it meant that they would have different experiences with each of the other clans. This continued to be something they would crave from the clans, wanting nothing but to experience everything. Although they would talk highly about themselves, they would listen intently to the other clans. They wanted to make conversation when they could, especially if they were visiting other clans to make business pacts.

They wanted to make sure that they were listening and learning things from the other clans both so they could keep their pacts going well, and so they could gather information to see how advanced they were. Since the Luserkel clan wanted to keep their clan above the level of the other clans, they were very smart about the information they would collect. As well, they would organize t so they were able to invent things as they needed them. When they made their carts to go on their domesticated animals, they had done it at the start of the spring, so that it would be ready for when they needed it for their crops.

They made sure they were able to remodel their homes in the summer, when the rain was falling less, and they would work on their weapons and armour in the winter, so the forge didn’t overheat them. Each of the things they did were carefully planned so they would have the best pay off they could. The inventions they thought of had always been planned so they would be done as soon as they needed them.

Biology

Along with being smart, the Luserkel clan were tall and seemingly beautiful. They were lean and tall, their bodies looking as though they were stretching towards the sky. They stood just over 6.5 feet tall, and that was on average. There were other members that were even taller, as the infection that had made them kin’toni had also mutated them, so they only became taller. There were some in the clan that could feel themselves growing more and more each day, and some of them felt great pain because of it. Even though they were only growing in small amounts each day, they could feel how much they were growing.

Each day they would be in pain with how much they were growing, and they were always trying to come up with ways to beat the pain and feel better.

No matter how smart they were, they were never able to invent anything that was able to beat the pain. It had started with exercise and went to massages. Some of these were effective while they were happening as the movements would distract them from the pain. Because of this, they would try and spend more time moving their bodies. This would mean that more work would get done because they were always chasing ways to take their pain away.

Aside from feeling the way they did, the Luserkel clan were a very beautiful clan. they had milky white skin that was soft from them working out in the consistent rainfall. They had deep emerald, green eyes that captivated anyone who looked into them for longer periods of time. Their eyes seemed to know everything, and so when the members of the Luserkel clan looked at other kin’toni, they would feel compelled to talk to them. Their looks were what they used to their advantage, so while they were gifted their good looks when they were born as zu'aan, the way they had mutated when they were turned into kin’toni had made it easier to persuade other kin’toni to listen to them.

They would use their influence to talk to other clans, and they would take information from them. Since they were so tall, they would look down at the other kin’toni and this would make them feel superior and cause the other kin’toni to open up to them. It was an odd effect that they had on other kin’toni, but it was something they would use to their advantage. As time went on, the Luserkel kin’toni only seemed to get more and more beautiful. While they would get taller, and their bodies would stretch, their features would change as well.

For some, this would be a bad thing, but for the Luserkel clan, growth would only make them more beautiful. As each year passed, they would grow up to 1 inche, and their features would get bigger. Since their skin was so soft from the rain, they were safe from any impurities.

Culture

Because they lived in the rainforest, the Luserkel clan liked to spend their time enjoying the rain. This awarded them the soft skin that they liked so much. For most of the year, the rain was warm, and working in it most of the year caused the clan to forget that it was even raining. There were some members of the clan that would spend their time outside for so long that their skin was slick with water, even when they were inside, out of the rain. When they did things that weren't taking away their pain, they were inventing things. These things could be anything from tools to make their chores easier, to things that would be able to make it easier for them to function as a clan.

They wanted to keep inventing their products so they could continue to advance as a clan. As a clan, they wanted to be known for making their lives, and the lives of other clans easier. When they figured out how to tame animals from the rainforest and get them to pull their carts, they knew they be able to sell that information to other clans to make a profit. Because of this, they were able to make enough money to go back to their village and fund other projects that they wanted to work on. After a while, they were able to consistently make a profit off inventing things and then selling the information on how to achieve them to the other clans.

They learned how to persuade the other kin’toni to buy their secrets and so they were able to make as much money as possible. It became easier and easier for them to invent new things and then sell the information as they were making enough of a profit that they didn’t have to worry about wasting some materials if an invention didn’t work out. Since they were so used to inventing things, the more they invented, the more they profited, and that was how they built up their clan. The more they sold their ideas, the happier they would be with the profit they made, and so no matter what else happened to them, they would remain optimistic.

This was how they liked to be as a clan, happy and making money. Eventually, there had been many times when they weren't able to invent anything, and so they would take a break to do other things. They were able to spend more time with their families, hunt together, and they were able to get other, bigger chores done. Since they liked to make things, they were able to renovate their village whenever they thought they needed to, and so when other clans would come to visit, they would see what the Luserkel clan had done to their village, and they would ask about it, thus giving the Luserkel clan an opportunity to sell more materials and ideas for how the other clans could renovate their villages as well.

Government

Despite how inventive they were, the Luserkel kin’toni would be nowhere without their government. The leaders of the clan wanted to ensure their members were able to function properly and they would be able to keep their clan running. When there were sales of information made, the money would go to the government, and they would take it to redistribute it to the members of the clan that were inventing other things. Sometimes, when they already had the materials they needed for their inventions, the government would take the money and donate it to some of the clans they knew needed it.

Other times, they had overstock of supplies, and they would take them to some of the clans they knew were struggling. Because of this, they were able to build partnerships with other clans and secure alliances as well. They were able to have the help of other clans’ militaries when the need for battle arose. It was well known that the Luserkel clan had a strong military, and that was because of the way their government controlled their actions. Since they were able to build such a strong government, the members of the Luserkel clan trusted their leaders.

They knew they were able to trust the decisions that were made, and so when something new was established, they would follow along with it. There were other clans that would ask them how they were able to establish such a strong government, and they would explain how they would make sure they had everything they needed. They didn’t have to worry about needing a lot since they would make sure their needs were met. Once they did that, the leaders would send the extra money to other clans that needed it. If any of the members of the Luserkel clan were unsure of something, all they would have to do is ask and their questions would be answered.

This was something they liked, as there was nothing they would be lied to about. If they wanted to know how much money the government was giving them to fund their inventions, they would be told. If they wanted to know how much they were giving to other clans, they would be told. There had always been a strong relationship there, and there was nothing the government would hide from the villagers. On top of that, there were only laws in place that would keep the villagers safe. There were no laws about how they were supposed to act, and that was something the clan liked.

Since they were in pain from constantly growing, the leaders didn’t have to worry about stopping fights as they never wanted to add more pain to their lives. Because the members of the clan would spend so much time working on their inventions, fights never happened, and so there was never a need to build a jail for the villagers. They did have one for any criminals from other clans, but even then, it was rarely used.

Military

It had been established long before that the Luserkel had a strong and well-known army. Their inventions had made it so that the clan had weapons that were strong and effective, as well as armour that would be able to protect them well. Anything they thought they needed for battle would be made for them, and they would be fit directly to each kin’toni, allowing them to move well and fight fluidly. Since there were no children in the clan, there was no requirements for anyone in the village to join the military. If they were able to provide a service to the army, they were allowed to join.

Of course, there always had to be members that had to stay back at the village to keep it safe if anything was to happen. This was an easy job as there weren’t many attacks that would happen to the clan. So, the members that would stay behind would catch up on chores, or they would help other villagers with inventions they were having trouble with. The Luserkel army fought with high-powered crossbows that were equipped with sharpened tipped arrows. As well, they had a set of arrows that that were able to light ablaze should they need to, although the flame arrows were rarely ever used.

If they were unable to keep fighting from a distance, each of the members of the army were equipped with a small shield and a short sword. These would be kept in straps on their backs, remaining accessible for when the fighters would need them. Their armour was made of the highest-grade metal that they could find, and it would take weeks for inventors to make new pieces of armour for the military. Because of this, they had decided they would make multiple pieces at a time, so that each member would be able to come for a replacement or a repair and have a new piece of armour on demand.

This was something that worked well for them, especially when they would be requested to join another clans army in a battle shortly after finishing one. Since they had such a large army, the military had no issue with splitting their army into groups when other clans would request their help when it was requested of them at the same time. The Luserkel clan were so used to being split into groups that they would often laugh about how they were always away from the other members of the clan. While it didn’t bother them, this was only because they would take their groups and change them around so the members of the clan would be able to fight with each other and build their bonds and techniques.

When the military returned from battle, they would be met with a party and a feast of blood that was freshly hunted that same day and kept warm for them. They liked to celebrate their victories, and so their parties would last for days at a time.

Religion

Since the Luserkel clan spent most of their time either fighting or inventing, there was not a lot of time left for religion. Before they were turned, they had always had at least two days in a month when they would meet and talk about their beliefs, but after they were changed, their time was split into other things. While there were members of the clan that did believe they should still be able to make time to meet, they knew that the inventions were the way the clan made their money, and if they were to take even one day a month away from doing so, they might not make as much of a profit than they might’ve if they were to work that day.

Because of this, many members of the clan had decided they would still practice their beliefs, but they would only do it when they had the time to do so. This meant that there were many kin’toni that would pray before they went hunting, or before they would go into battle. They would make sure that they offered to hunt with some of the other members of the clan to ensure no one felt left out. Even though many of the members of the clan would pray and would still practice their religion, there were others that didn’t believe that they should have to believe in a god or goddess.

Although they didn’t speak this belief outwards, they knew that if they did, there would be no repercussions taken. They knew that the clan believed they should have the freedom to believe what they wanted, and so that was what they did. There were never any members that would outwardly scoff the religions of the rest of the clan as they knew that was rude, and there was no point in starting fights over things they didn’t believe in at the same time. Sometimes, the members that didn’t believe in the same things as the others would join in with the ones that did.

This would happen when there were things that happened where they needed to. They would all pray at funerals whether they believed or not. They would all pray before battles as they wanted to be as strong together as they could be. To some members, prayer was seen to bond with their clan mates. It would draw them closer together, and that was something they liked. They knew they all liked being able to get closer with each other, and if prayer was the way to do it, then that was what they would do.

Since there were so many members that did believe in the religion they did have for a long time, the Luserkel clan advertised that they did in fact have a religion, but it wasn’t something they practiced as other clans did. If other kin’toni were to ask them what they did, they wouldn’t lie about how they practiced their religion. They didn’t believe that lying was a good thing to do.
