History

In the pre-exile era, from all the followers of Estard, Iasul was the least content, and the most ambitious from the former’s 7 primary pupils. The harmony under the great kingdom was somewhat mundane and almost alarming to Iasul and his clan. He made sure that this fire burnt deep and strong to fuel his clan through a rigorous training and education system based on pure meritocracy and ruthlessness. He believed that there will be a time when all will fall apart, and it would be up to the strongest and the smartest of the life forms to reclaim the lost glory, and grace, of their gods.

But this meant he would have to inform and nurture his followers above and beyond the conformity of their kingdom. It meant that he had to rebel in secret. He knew that although they – his students and him – are breaking critical rules of universal harmony, but as their purpose was certainly well founded, it was only practical to believe that they were redeemable for choosing and pursuing an altruistic cause. This loophole in governance and reign of the Estard kin'toni clan became one of the seven key reasons for “the Great Exile” which later paved the way for “the age of pandemonium”.

As Iasul kin'toni Clan was relatively better equipped to handle adversity, it was believed by “the first generation of misfits” that his clan would thrive in case of conflict, and could destroy their adversaries ruthlessly. What the Iasul kin'toni clan could not anticipate was that their strength and wisdom would invite scepticism and fear, instead of confidence and gratitude from the average member of the kingdom. However, this is not what brought the turmoil to the kingdom, and Iasel’s altruistic motives.

It was certainly his knack of breaking rules for a greater cause that led to inception of “Zagarmatani” in youngest student, Ieni. “Zagarmatani” is the pinnacle of competence and competitiveness that a being or its kind can attain. Once unlocked, it triggers an irreversible metamorphosis in a person, which only stops with self-immolation or “Samadhini” (eternal silence of the universe). Ieni’s kin'toni Clan became the first “Zagarmatani” kingdom, and like all such power centres, they became an imminent threat to the harmony and sustainability of Estard kin'toni’s Clan.

Iasul kin'toni knew at the beginning of his pursuit that such a situation could arise and had prepared a way out for the rest of his students, and their students, but such a path would be full of sacrifices and tragedies. Iasul kin'toni clan was not the kind to shy away from such regrettable necessities, the only challenge was, “who could believe such ruthless warriors?”

Biology

Their eyes have light yellow irises with white sclerae and a horizontal rectangular pupils. The comic anomalies surrounding the Iasul Kin'toni clan, especially on the omnious night of Iasul's death, had long term implications on their appearance and form. One could could gauge that they have witnessed something spectacular just by snesking a glimpse of their eyes, as it was practically impossible to hold a gaze or stare into their eyes for too long before irking a sharp response.

Each member of the Iasul Kin'toni clan had a unique voice segment, but they all had the powers to modulate their voices according as per the context or situation. They were not particularly great listeners of external voices, however they had no doubts when it came to listening to their inner voice. Only the “zagarmatanis" could mitigate and transcend the differences between inner and outer voices. But the rest of the clan, would just go with the commands of their internal and intimate being. They knew how to distinguish between their the divine inner voice and the lures of the ego.

Lures of the ego was always extremely pleasant and melodic, while the divine voice was binary and metronomic. Iasul Kin'toni Clan had a weakness for taste and smell but still consume just about anything. For them taste and smell were a natural side-effects of having an option to eat. And they could eat, uncontrollably. Most members of the clan had huge appetites, and they wouldnt care much if it was an animal or a plant that they were consuming, as long as it was their's to have. Fighting for food, to Iasul Kin'toni clan, could only makes it althemore delicious.

But there were some specific kinds of food, which they would only watch, and smell. They were also very sensitive to touch and light. They found their atmosphere full of sensations, each carrying a secret code or tune to dance to. They could stretch themselves into a form, or no form, effortlessly, and it would look like that they are breaking into a choreographed dance routine, regularly, even when they were simply gliding over a new territory to look for resources or food.

Only the "zagarmatanis" had total mind control, and woul not give in to any kind of temptation for food, smell, touch or taste, as they listened to what was the context governing those choices. They had reddish rough skin and black hair.

Culture

All the clans under Estard kin'toni could have their own unique worldview. Estard made sure that diversity and vividity of these clans could help the larger kingdom flourish and at the same time would never run out of newer ways to be. During the age of exile these cultures came to their own, and some even started to impose on the others their worldview. One of the most aggressive clans, which followed this ruthless approach was Iasul kin'toni Clan. They followed what was known as a crescent worldview of life, and it emerged from their faith and religion, which was based on the cycles of the moon.

They operated as one tribe but were always reluctant to accept that everyone could arrive at a common sense or motive, hence there were a lot of instantaneous accusations and trials. They never denied the fact that everyone has a general sense of good, but somehow it was almost criminal to turn a blind eye to the innate selfishness in all life forms, which sometimes can corrupt even the most noble and kind ones, in time. The structure of hierarchy, and even respect, in the Iasul kin'toni Clan was based on punctuality and evidence.

If one could find evidence to challenge even the most basic building block of their culture, it was much respected for their candour and courage. This meant there was always a sense of restlessness in the tribe, but at the same time one couldn’t say there was ever a dull moment while interacting with a member of Iasel kin'toni’s clan. They spent extraordinarily little energy on things or matters which could not have a logical conclusion, in time. If one must truly visualise and sense what it was like to be in one of the meetings of the tribe.

This is where a respected member would address the masses, and rather ironically, everyone who gathered would listen to him without any rebuttals and hackles, with utmost diligence and attention, then that can only be done through anecdotes like from the great “debriefings for the tribe”, from the first anniversary of beginning of “the great exile”.“Careful with hope. Doubt, but do have faith in the incompleteness of our journeys and forms. Submission to the chaos and the unknown is not our choice.

We are here, together, to strip the truth to its last layer, and bare all we have in the process of being one with our source, but we do it through each other. We fight to improve each other. We challenge each other to improve. We hate to love each other.” “We are the phases and faces of the closest celestron of our observable pursuits - our Moons – and we are that to each other. Forever. I am yours, my moons.” It was quickly realised that there are different aspects of existence, and much like the duality of the moons (the dark and bright sides), we must be conscious of our inner demons, while manifesting hope and love.

Since turning, it became a natural aspect of Iasul kin'toni’s culture, much like a game of hide and seek, to look for a good moon and bad moon, in all moons.

Government

The Supreme Leader of the clan was the most vulnerable and dispensable element within the Structure of governance and hierarchy. Due to the critical and vociferous nature of the clan, it was impossible for him to command the rest. All he could do was to accept the best possible solution from his counsel, and even the public, as most of his own ideas and solutions were constantly challenged/rejected on the key principle of “one person’s wisdom is nothing compared to the experience and wisdom of two or many”.

Most supreme leaders of the clan could not last long, as in case they would choose a wrong suggestion/solution for a particular problem/proposition (irrespective of the degree of its impact), the doubts about their leadership would soon engulf them, and then the judiciary would pass harsh sentences, least bit of which implied that they are to be stripped of their role and respect, and slip all the way down to lowest level of society, among the least competent with the objective of exchanging perspectives with them.

Unfortunately, even if most of them learned to be humbler and better equipped to be the supreme leaders, they lost their will to lead the clan, and were content playing King Topplers. One of the most iconic moments of their clan was when their first leader Iasul kin'toni was toppled and executed, publicly, for not having done enough to avoid the “the age of pandemonium”, even though he was one of the first ones to sense that there was something wrong about “the age of harmony’.

Before his public execution, these were his last words. “Being righteous and wise means nothing if you can not stand up with courage and confidence in time, and that is how you sabotage something as beautiful as the journey of life and turn it into a catastrophic afterthought of your fragile mind and character. I am guilty of not knowing what was right, pursuing it, and eventually proving it to be true for all, but all alone. I had you with me, but you are not guilty of your sins, as I was the leader chosen and created to take you into the age of the truth.

Unfortunately, for me, and for you, the age of truth starts with a seemingly never-ending pandemonium. But I believe that a moon, someday, will show all its faces, at the same time, and present us eternal truth beyond all perceptions of finiteness and false sense of being finished. Until then, I will live through you, as shall you, with my memories.” Before speaking those words out, he must have believed and hoped that the incident, and its context, would make the next leader more fearless and ruthless.

But such was his personality and charisma that those who followed him, fell straight into the void he had left behind, and the next in line was always sinking in the “now”.

Military

Philosophy: Ruthless and powerful. Do not believe in second chances. Are inclined to be non-violent unless they sense a threat brewing. Do not take too long to pass a controversial or radical judgement. They believe that true power resides with those who find old context to new enemies and do so mapping a well-thought plot.

Absolute strength: Every member of the tribe was trained to spot, trick and hunt their prey. They encouraged warriors to enable and mentor more and more potential warriors. Great warriors were mentored and enabled by countless others. But there were a few equally powerful ones who only had only and absolutely one kind of enablement and mentorship all their lives. This would often result in intra-clan bouts to demonstrate power and superiority among various warriors. The outcomes and methodology of such bouts dictated the approach for an actual battle or war.

There were many bouts taking place within the Iasul kin'toni’s clan, simultaneously, and at times of wars and battles these violent instances outnumbered arguments and discussions.

Style: Sophisticated savagery, they carried the mysticism of wolves in their pre-encounter idiosyncrasies. However, at the very instance of such collisions, they were fluid and feline. They did not believe in specialization, and each warrior was skilled enough to wield different weapons and forms of fights. The fiercest kind of warriors in the tribe were the much feared “Zagarmatanis”, who would start a fight naked, and eventually strip their opponent of their clothes and weapons, and would end up consuming them completely, in one way or the other.

“Zagarmatanis” spent most of their time playing non-violent sports like wrestling, climbing, riding, sprinting and swimming. Most of the “Zagarmatanis” were orphans or emotionally estranged children, who not just underprivileged, but also found it increasingly difficult to keep up with the pace of Iasul kin'toni’s clan, in the initial stage. Their journey was a beautiful bell-curve between “giving up easily” and “not knowing what it is like to give up anything”. They were kind leaders of their teams, when it came to fights, but were not inclined to lead the clan.

Eventually, A “Zagarmatani” would go on to have political ambitions and become the founding father of Ieni kin'toni clan.

War strategies, and tactics: Before jumping into a mode of attack the military would spend an enormous amount of energy getting all the facts against the opponents and would match their worst warriors against the best ones from the opposition. It was mostly a gambit because Iasul kin'toni Clan did not have any weak links in the war, but the illusion of fighting a weaker opponent, often made their enemies complacent. They would not start with their best moves and would slowly grow into a flow of unstoppable chaos.

Religion

Cycles of the moon have critical implications on the courses and choices of the Iasul kin'toni clan members. They did not believe in preachers, prophets and priests, and each member was encouraged to express a unique interpretation of the moon and its many faces. Storytelling is something which came naturally to each member of the clan, and it was cultivated by forgiving inventive lies that the turnees would come up with to hide their mistakes. They believed that it is impossible to understand and assimilate truth without cutting through a few hundred thousand lies.

Their rituals and tradition encouraged the members of the tribe to come up with unique sacrifices and tributes under the moonlight of a full moon. All the members of the tribe would gather and show-off their creations, in all forms possible, as stories, products or just experiences. Iasul kin'toni clan was progressive but they did believe in the concept of curses and boons. They argued that if something is said with the right conviction and intensity could come true, against all odds, but it must not be in any way an act of selfishness, or the voice of ego.

The clan would have intense training sessions, as part of their religious belief system, in which all the members would thrash their egos, and those surrounding them, to be as close to the larger super-consciousness. It was believed that since “zagarmatanis” do not have any egos, they can access the unlimited powers of super-consciousness to beat any enemy or life-threatening situation. All the members of the clan would gather, rather secretly, to witness “Zagarmatanis” exercising and practicing their superpowers.

But since “zagarmatanis” had great instincts, they could sense that they were being witnessed and would playfully torment the observers by taking over their senses or hypnotizing them to do something terribly embarrassing. One who had missed the opportunity to be a “zagarmatani” at an early age, would never get a chance of becoming one later. However, they could have a “zagarmatani” mentor/enabler who could teach them different ways of living a dignified and peaceful life, and at the same time become the fiercest versions of themselves.

All their classes and discourses would only take place on the occasions of a full-moon, and it was considered highly inauspicious for any clan member to sleep under the moonlight. They were nocturnal for 15 days and diurnal for the rest of the 15 days of the moon cycles. This transition would take place on the occasion of the new moon when the whole clan would be sleeping together on a moonless night, which was considered to be the most vulnerable time for an Iasul kin'toni Clan member. It was also the night when Iasul was hanged, and the moon made a special appearance that night to grace his sacrifice, but it was yellow in colour.

Miscellany

One of the most popular and the least respected ways for Iasul Kin'toni clan to sustain their legacy was abduction and kidnapping from other clans. There were some tribes/clans who would readily give up their children out of fear, while others would do so with faith as they admired the Iasul kin'toni way of life way more than their own. This trade of children became a key reason of conflict between most kin'toni and other clans. This practice was called “amphermation”, which also included integration and orientation into the tribe.

The children who would quickly learn the kin'toni way of being were allocated mentors and enablers, while the ones who showed the most resistance and struggle in adopting, were cultivated and nurtured as “Zagarmatanis”.“Zagarmatanis” spent a lot of time meditating with bloodroot plants, and reptiles to learn the art of mimicking nature. Eventually, they would learn to morph themselves into Iasul kin'toni clan members and were allotted a mentor/enabler.

Some would find it terribly difficult to live with reptilian brains and would go crazy or die fighting pointless battles. But the most adaptable ones would attain a zen -like stillness in their personalities and demeanour and would go on to be legends of the Iasul kin'toni clan. The greatest of all “Zagarmatanis” was the young Ieni, who was kidnapped from the fiercest rivals of the Iasuls – Ight’turu kin'toni clan, who could claim the throne of any clan he wished, but eventually ended up having his own.

Some kin'toni clans, who were into concepts like reincarnations or avatars, believed that it was Estard himself, who had turned dark due to rigorous training and conditioning by Iasul kin'toni Clan. Iasul kin'toni clan members believed that he was the most selfish Iasul, and should have never been abducted, as it was against the principles and teachings of Iasul himself. One could sense that there was always an ongoing tension and conflict among the members of the clan due to the hardships and challenges they faced for their survival.

But it is not entirely true as between horrible confrontations there were moments of pure bliss and surrender, in which each member would partake in their own way. Iasul Kin'toni were who they were despite the constant threats posed in front of them. They never sacrificed their dignity, and grace, even when if it felt, at times, that all of was lost, or was slowly sliding into a state of complete darkness.
