Geography

The Enemu Ice Plains Hills is well known for its icy climate and wintry appearance so logically it would make sense that the temperature remains at a consistently freezing temperature to enable the Enemu Ice Plains Hills to keep its appearance. The surfaces are entirely showered with snow and icicles hang off every side. There has never been a report of sunshine or a heatwave of any kind in this location and if all remains unchanging, this will forever be the case. The weather follows a strict schedule of light snow during the day and heavy snow during the night.

What would be considered bad weather in the Enemu Ice Plains Hills would be a snowstorm in which snow, wind, and rain combine together to create a whirlwind which requires anyone inhabiting the Enemu Ice Plains Hills to retreat to their homes to avoid being burried. It gets dark fairly quickly as the clouds thriving in the sky are either light gray or a darker gray creating a dim-lit effect on the entirety of the Enemu Ice Plains Hills. The Enemu Ice Plains Hills are quite spacious and big. Most areas are inhabitable due to the large mountains taking up most of the room but there are plenty of areas that are well lived in.

The total area of the Ice Plain Hills is 2.719 million km². There aren't many cities within the Enemu Ice Plains Hills since it's not a popular place to visit and the general temperature is too much of a nuisance for others to navigate. Most of the interesting locations within the Enemu Ice Plains Hills are mountains and rivers which the Orm'kela Kin'toni Clan have given names to and occasionally visit. There are also mountains and rivers with no given names as they are far less prominent and have few memorable qualities. The most important landmark in the Enemu Ice Plains Hills is the biggest mountain within their territory known as Bholkosh.

It has a sturdy structure with sharp edges and snow adorning the entirety of its top. It is near impossible to climb due to its colossal stature however many of the Orm'kela Kin'toni Clan dig at the lower level of the mountain when rough and strong material is needed to create something or form a tool. Following after the Bholkosh mountain, there's the Koparc river which acts as a barrier around the Enemu Ice Plains Hills. It's an extremely long river with refreshing gushes of frigid water flowing around several times a day. Whenever supplies of water are needed, the Koprac river is the number one choice for anyone living within the Ice Plains Hills.

In conclusion, when visiting the Enemu Ice Plains Hills, you should expect cold weather and a generally dark atmosphere regardless of what time you visit. There is hardly a lick of sunlight and the worst type of weather you could receive is a slightly irritating snowstorm. There are two major landmarks, those being the Bholkosh mountain and the Koprac river.

Plants

Plants are a rare occurrence. Hardly do they ever grow within the Enemu Ice Plains Hills due to the temperature halting any development. If a normal seed were to be planted, the cold would halt its development until the temperature was right. Since the temperature would never change its course, the seed would remain in the ground ungrown for the rest of eternity. There are only 5 types of plants that grow that can grow successfully in cold weather and are specifically native to the Enemu Ice Plains Hills. Twi'kloira are light blue flowers that take around a full year to grow and are simply beautiful flowers and nothing more than that.

They can sometimes come in a range of colors, all pastel, and light in nature but the most common color you will find is light blue. A notable fact about these flowers is that they are not made for any species to consume. Upon eating it, the victim if a kin'toni, will be rendered limp for up to a week (or if a strong kin'toni, will heal much faster), and if a zu'aan, they could possibly die. Uvari is a type of flower that forms only in cold water particularly developing overnight and making its presence known in the morning.

They flow down the rivers with icy cold water and eventually melt away before forming again as soon as the next night comes along. Uvari are well-known for their gentle and sweet smell which presents itself as a delight to anyone who comes across it. This flower isn't poisonous however it's advised to not consume it unless put into a warm cup, creating a tea flavor that is said to aid the pursuit of sleep. heidlaca are white flowers that are only able to grow when planted within soil covered in snow. They are very small plants that blend in with the color of snow they grow in so spotting them is a very difficult task.

Still, some are able to spot them instantly thanks to spending a long time living within the Enemu Ice Plains Hills. Heidlaca may not be native to only the Enemu Ice Plains Hills but they certainly are common there to the point where most of the Orm'kela kin'toni can recognize what kind of flower they are just with a single look. Ibows are a strange type of prickly plant with sharp thorns all around them and no flower present on its top. This is by far the most annoying plant since it has no usage and can potentially harm someone walking through who doesn't know any better.

Ibows cannot be consumed or touched and it's currently unknown if they contain poison but anyone who comes across it knows to turn the other way since when stuck to flesh, it's excruciating to remove and causes the victim to bleed mercilessly. Another unpleasant fact about this plant is that it grows wherever it pleases and can be found outside of the Enemu Ice Plains Hills.

Animals

Within the Enemu Ice Plains Hills, animals are in fact quite common and are often hunted in order to make warm clothes for the members of the clan living within. Most if not all of the animals living within have warm coats of fur and light-colored fur to help blend in and hide from attackers. A majority of the animals hold no ill will to the kin'toni despite the constant attacks and violence committed against them. If not complete indifference, they will display avid fear of kin'toni and run away at the smell of their presence. Over the years, it has become more difficult to hunt them as they have developed their instincts to sense fear.

These animals are not native to just the Enemu Ice Plain Hills except for one species, that being: mirylas. They are albino creatures resembling bats who hang upside down preferably near icicles to keep cool. It is said that they sleep more often than they stay awake because they only need meals once a month. mirylas are purely native to the Enemu Ice Plain Hills and cannot be found elsewhere. They are very passive creatures who pose no threat and keep to themselves 24/7. Their bodies are fluffy with fur but their wings and feet are fleshy and bony.

mirylas do not have enough fur on their bodies so they are not hunted by the Orm'kela kin'toni clan and are left alone. They give birth to their offspring through eggs and take care of their children until they are a couple of months old and know how to fly independently. Zeboon are creatures who resemble bears with extremely long and sharp claws and sharp fangs protruding out of their mouths. Despite their threatening appearance, they are actually warm and emotional animals who can sense the emotions of all other species. They are by far one of the most hunted species in the cold areas of Taerel, thanks to their huge coats of fur all over their bodies.

Some kin'toni look down upon the act of hunting zeboons down and instead domesticate the animal to help assist with hunts or remain as a companion. They have not developed the sense of danger yet and react to kin'toni with indifference. Gazena is the last prominent species in the Enemu Ice Plains Hills and without a doubt the most difficult to capture. They resemble gazelles as their slim legs and light bodies are able to jump high and run fast. Much like the zeboons, they have an entire body covered to the brim with fur and plenty of it making them a big target over the years.

Due to this, the newer generation of gazena have evolved to fear any type of kin'toni and run away at the slightest of sounds. Their furs are worth the most as it's so plentiful and warm but to be able to catch such a nimble creature requires a hunter who is strong and quick on their feet. Many have believed they have what it takes, only to discover they don't.
