History

While the Wan’rila kin’toni clan had always lived within Ward'ent Volcanic Stones Plains. There was never a time when they had ever thought to move, as they had come to enjoy living where they did. While it was dry, and occasionally unbearably warm. The members of the clan had grown used to the heat of their home, and because of this, they had decided that when the weather was to warm for their liking, that they would go around and perform for other kin’toni clans. As it were, the Wan’rila kin’toni clan had spent long hours of their lives learning new skills that they could use to perform for other clans.

Even before they had been changed into kin’toni, they had travelled in hopes that other villages would pay to see them perform and enjoy what they say. When they first started, the Wan’rila performers would offer their first performances for free to clans that had never seen what they could do, and because of this, and their growing success, the clan became one of the most sought after performing clans around. They would travel long distances to perform for anyone that asked of them, regardless of the price they would pay, as they didn't want to do it for payment.

The clan knew that they wanted to perform because they loved it, but also knew that they would have to have new supplies as older ones broke or were lost. This caused them to accept payments from the clans that they would perform for. While they were travelling, they would carry tents and light buildings with them so that they would have somewhere to sleep when they were performing or talking to members of the clans. As well, some of the buildings would be used for the performers to practice in so that they could perfect their skills in private and so that they could keep their acts a secret from the curious eyes of the clan they were performing for.

They always strived to ensure that they were able to bring new content to the clans they would perform for, even if it was their first time there. They were always learning new things from each other, and taking suggestions from the clans, seeing if they would be able to integrate their ideas into their next performance. Since they always had a wide array of acts that they could choose from, they weren't always concerned with learning new ones quickly, so they would take their time to learn them and they would stick with the acts that they knew until they perfected the new ones.

As time passed, and they became popular for their performances, the Wan’rila kin’toni clan became more and more distant from their home in Ward’ent Volcanic Stones Plains. They would continue to spend more and more time away from home, and that would cause the members of the clan that had stayed behind to become worried and unimpressed that their other members had not come back to them.

Psychology

Because of them being performers, the Wan’rila kin’toni clan had initially been humble about their performances. They would intentionally give them out for free when it was their first performance for that clan, and that would ensure that the clan would hopefully like what they would see and would proceed to pay for more performances in the future. This was the tactic that they would use to ensure their customers would come back to them and ask to pay for their acts.

After they had built such a large life for themselves, and had been so sought after that some of the clans would fight over their acts, they had begun to lose their humbleness. The members of the Wan’rila clan began to drink in their popularity, and they would do whatever they could to secure more paying clans. They would send out some members of their clan when they weren't performing so that they could pitch to new and recurring clans to see if they could land more performances. In doing so, they would end up overbooking themselves since they hadn't been able to turn down other clans when they felt the need to satisfy everyone.

Being overbooked would leave them scurrying from act to act so that they could finish their performance and then move to the next one and so on and so forth. The clan knew that they were running themselves ragged, but they wouldn't want to do anything that would cause them to lose their customers. As they would spend most of their time out performing, the members of the clan that would stay back to take care of the village would become worried about the lack of appearances from their other members. They would end up becoming lonely as some of the members that were performing were the spouses of the village caretakers.

And being away from each other from longer times would force them to adapt to living alone. Then, once the other members would return and the rest of the clan would have to adapt to their appearance once again before they would leave. Some of the members would do anything that they could to keep their loved ones at home with them, but this didn't always work as the performers chased the adoration that they received. Along with the impending sense of loneliness and abandonment that the clan felt, they started to believe that they would have to build their village and their clan once again from the inside out so that they would have enough members to sustain the village's needs and demands.

There weren't enough members staying at home to ensure that things would run smoothly, and so the remaining members decided together that they would build up the clan as well as they could. It didn't take them long, knowing that there were many other kin’toni that would love to be part of the clan that housed the performers that they had come to know and adore.

Biology

Since the Wan'rila kin'toni clan were performers, they all looked unique from each other. Because of how they would all perform differently, their bodies were all entirely different. Each had different muscles and different body sizes, this was because of how they would train themselves, and how their bodies were made before they learned what they could do. As soon as they knew what they wanted to perform, they had begun training so that they could ensure they could perform at the best of their abilities. Each of the members of the clan had equally milky skin, their skin looking untouched, as though it was freshly made.

Some of the members did have scars from when they would be practicing a new skill, and they would end up messing up and thus they would be injured. Many of the clan members were proud of their marks, knowing that they were proof that they had mastered the skill. Aside from their milky skin, each of the members of the wan’rila clan had different hair colors. There were some that had blonde hair, others that had brown hair, and rarely you could see a couple members that had red or black hair. Their hair was one of the things that they liked about themselves the most, knowing that it made them unique.

The wan’rila kin’toni clan had eyes that would transfix their customers as they would perform. In regular lighting, their eyes were black in color, the difference between their irises and their corneas was non-existent. When they would perform, some of the acts that used fire would cause an interesting effect. When the kin’toni from the wan’rila clan would look at the fire, it would be clearly reflected in their eyes. This would cause their eyes to dance with the fire, and it would add to the performance. When there was the need to train for their performances, the members of the clan would go all out.

They would lift weights to ensure that they had enough strength and endurance to carry out their performances, or they would go for long runs each day to make sure they were in good shape. On top of that, there were acts that would take the kin’toni up into the air so that they could perform, and the members would have to make sure that they were able to properly balance and have enough strength to carry out what they were trying to do. Sometimes, there would be groups of performers that would go out and train together as their acts were similar, and would require the same levels of exercise.

Each of these exercises would ensure that the kin’toni were at top performance, and it would also cause them to have more pronounced muscles, as well as taking away any extra fat that they may have had beforehand. Each of the performers in the clan would keep track of their workouts so that they could change what they needed to, and would always be able to ensure that they were in top shape.

Culture

Culturally, the wan’rila kin’toni clan believed that performing made up who they were. While they were performing, they believed that they were at the top of their existence, believing that their lives would never be as good as they were when they were performing for other kin’toni to see. Aside from performing, there weren't a lot of things that the Wan’rila clan would do. They would train as they wanted to always make sure that even though they might not be performing, that they were always in the best shape. This, as well as their performances, would take many of the hours that the kin’toni would spend awake, and it would leave little time for them to enjoy themselves, or even make friends.

While many of them would perform in groups, or would train together, there would often be times when there were kin’toni that were left out. These other members would go about their days on their own, either because that was how they liked it to be, or because they didn't have any sort of routine that would match the other members of the clan. Sometimes other members would invite them to come and train with them so that they wouldn't be alone, but this didn't always work, and so they would go back to being alone, being reduced to thinking that this was what they deserved.

Back at the village, the kin’toni that had decided to stay there to make sure that the village was still running properly were now feeling abandoned by the performing kin’toni. The frequency with which they were coming home was dwindling, and they were starting to despise the other kin’toni that were allowed to leave and have their fun. These members had started talking to other clans, forging their own partnerships with other clans, and taking in other kin’toni that needed a place to go. They had decided that they would make their own way while the other kin’toni were away, and that they would prosper without them.

When the other kin’toni did come back to the clan, they would see that there were some new kin’toni there, and that there were new practices in place. Since they would be gone for so long, so many things would change, and they would have to take their time to adjust to the new ways of life that their clan had adopted while they had been away. It was known that because they were there less of the time than the other kin’toni from their clan, that they would not have as much say in when things changed around them, and they wouldn't be allowed to pose new changes while they were home.

They would easily accept this as they understood that their role was to go out and to perform, and not to stay at home and build the clan. They would take on the routines that the other members had, and they weren't given a choice in doing so.

Government

Since there were essentially two different groups of kin’toni within the Wan’rila clan, there were two different sets of rules and laws that they would have to follow, based on which group they were in. While one group would have one set of rules, the other would have a completely different set of rules. The performers would be held to a lower standard as they were constantly travelling around to different clans to put on a show for them. They would have to make sure that they were checking in at home, so that it was known where they were, and where they were going next.

This would ensure that if something happened, the other group of kin;toni would be able to send help to the performers. As well, while they were travelling, the performers would have to make sure that they were eating enough, and not going hunting too frequently, as they had a tight schedule to keep. There would always be at least a small group of military kin’toni there with them to ensure that they were following their schedules and getting to where they needed to be on time. These military kin’toni were also there to ensure that any threats were kept away from the performers, and that they were always kept safe.

Back at the village, the kin’toni there were kept to a much higher standard than the performing kin’toni. They would have to ensure that they were following more strict rules, and they would have to always ensure that their clan mates were doing the same. Because of them having the government officials with them there, if they were to break any of the rules or the laws there, they would be more heavily punished. Because they didn't have any sort of police force, each of the members of the clan would have to take it upon themselves to ensure that their fellow clan members were following the laws, and that they were breaking them.

If they saw that someone was doing something they weren't supposed to be doing, they were obligated to report it to the government officials so that the issue could be resolved. The officials that were appointed were in charge of everything from keeping track of the performers, to ensuring that the laws within the village were upheld. Oftentimes, they would meet with members of the village in hopes to gain another perspective on the laws, and see where they would be able to make improvements. If there were things that they wanted to change, the officials would make their plans to change what they needed to before they would call an official meeting that each of the villagers would have to attend.

This is where they would make their announcements, and they would address what needed to be brought up. As well, they would make a plan to remind the performing kin’toni of the changes once they had returned from their travels.

Military

The military of the Wan’rila kin’toni clan had various jobs that they would have to fulfil on a daily basis. These would range from ensuring that the performers were taken care of and were on schedule, to patrolling the grounds of their home village to make sure all was well. Each of these jobs was given to a different group of kin’toni each month, always ensuring that there would be new faces doing new jobs. As well, this would give the military different options that they could choose from. When they would have to accompany the performing kin’toni, the group that was assigned for that month would have to do everything that they could to make sure that the performers were on time to the clans that they were performing for.

As well as making sure that they weren't partaking in anything that could be considered illegal. No matter where they would go with the performers, they would ensure that the kin’toni were following the laws and rules for their own clan, and that they were always making sure that they were safe. If ever there was a time that they weren't being safe, or if they were breaking the law, members of the military would take the offending member back to their tent and they would make them sit in there, either until they would have to go and perform, or until their would have to move on to the next clan.

Sometimes, there were instances where a few members of the military would escort one of the kin’toni back to the village. This was either because the crime that they had committed was too great for them to handle, or because they needed medical attention that the military, or other clans, couldn't offer them. This wouldn't happen often as the military was equipped with the knowledge to be able to perform many medical treatments in case it was needed.Back at the village, the jobs for the military were very different. Their jobs would consist of border patrol, guarding the members of the government when they had their meetings, and overall just making sure that the members of the clan were staying safe.

When they would have to patrol around to the border, the members of the military would take a sword with them, keeping it on their back unless it was needed, as well as a shield that they would keep on their arm. This would allow them to block anything that would come at them with ease, and give them a moment to grab their sword should they end up needing it. Aside from their main duties, the military of the Wan’rila clan were also knowledgeable in the field of medicine. This was so that they would be able to take care of each other if something were to happen, and they weren't able to get to a doctor quickly.

Each member was trained this way thoroughly so that it was always ingrained in their memory.

Religion

Within the Wan’rila kin’toni clan, there were a few different religious practices. The performers believed that they were being watched from above while they were performing, and they would pray to this being that they believed was there before and after their performances. The villagers believed more so that they were alone in the world, and that they would have to spend their lives on their own without any sort of help from a higher power. As well, when the performers would come back from their travels, they would bring with them tidbits of information regarding religions that other clans had.

They would share these with the other members of the clan in hopes that they would like what they would like what they heard, and that they would want to hear more about it. This didn't usually happen as the villagers believed that they were too busy to partake in trying out new religions, but the performers remained hopeful. When the performers would travel, they would always make sure that they would pray to their made up performance god before they would go and perform. They would ask that their performance would go smoothly, and that the clan that they were performing for would fall in love with their acts and would ask to have them back again soon.

While the performers were learning new tricks and stunts, they would pray to ask that they would learn their new trick quickly and without injury so that they could perform it as soon as possible to the crowds. The performers would pray about just about everything, wanting to always ensure that their acts would go well, and that they would be able to rake in as many customers as they could. They would always want to make sure that they had a steady stream of customers so that they would feel accomplished in their lives, and they believed that their made up god was able to grant them this.

Each time the performers would return back to the village, they would talk about this god that they seemingly believed in, and how he would make their performances better and better each time. The villagers would try and explain to them that the reason their performances were getting better was because they were doing them over and over again, but the performers wouldn't listen, instead choosing to believe that they had been blessed by their god. Whenever anyone would say anything negative about their god, the performers would always bring up any and everything good that their god did for them.

No matter how many times they would hear bad things about their god, they would always be able to come up with something better that he could do for them, and this became an endless cycle. The villagers would never believe in this god, and the performers would spend countless hours talking about this god and trying to get the villagers to believe just as much as they did.
