The Kujami are adapted to the cold, humid Waanyu Valley's cave systems. They are lean and wiry of build, with an flexible skeletal structure. Their limbs are elongated. The downside of this is being more fragile and less strong than other clans. They are lighter then the normal kin'toni as to aid climbing. But this means they can easily be knocked around by powerful concussive forces. Their skin is albino, and lacks all external pigmentation. This is due to an lack of light. Th downside of this is without any form of pigmentation, it is very vulnerable to sunlight.

They have skin cells that absorb humidity from the air, to lower their needs for open water sources. Their heads are coated in long fine, short white hair. They have whiskers embedded in facial and limb joints that are used to heir immediate surroundings through air pressure changes. The downside of this is that it is able to be overwhelmed with sudden, sharp, non-resonant noises. This leads to disorientation and temporary nausea. They have fully black eyes, adapted to pick up all light, but these eyes are sensitive to bright light, such as fire.

The ears are small, and pointed. The nose is very reduced externally, but has expanded internal olfactory chambers to capture subtle scents in stagnant air. They are poor at tacking trails outside, and worst in strong wind. Their teeth are extremely fine and needle-sharp for minimal-damage feeding. These teeth are easily chipped or broken on hard objects. Their claws are multi-jointed and retractile. They have rough gripping pads on their fingers and ties. These are good for vertical scaling, but poor at resisting blunt force trauma.

They have very elastic tendons and muscle tissue for body contortion as to allow moving though tight cave openings. These tissues are prone tearing under heavy, sustained loads and come with the trade off of reduced strength. The hands and feet are highly resistant to frostbite. This allows for more then normal exposure to the valley’s perpetual chill and wet stone. They have an slow-burning metabolism that is adapted for low-energy consumption. This allows them to survive long times between feeding. This prevents rapid adrenaline spikes, alongside bursts of speed.

This means they are poor sprinters or sustained fighters. They have an very concentrated internal hemoglobin structure to be able to function optimally with reduced oxygen levels in deep, poorly ventilated cave areas. They have an regenerative abilities optimized for bone and cartilage repair to help heal climbing-related injuries quickly. They have an adapted to efficiently process the blood of cave-dwelling mammals. These often have an lower nutrient profile. The downside of this is that richer, more complex blood, such as that of high order animals can give them digestive distress.

They have an unusually good spatial memory and magnetic field detection. This allows them to map and recall complex, three-dimensional cave and canyon networks. The body can produce a specialized, odorless pheromone that is used by clan members to track each other in the dark.
