Geography

The Broadleaf Forest borders the Flooded Grassland of Loss and the Broadleaf Forest is west of the Pixiau Moor, and it is also east of the Badarval Canyon. Given its geographical location, the five hundred square miles of the Broadleaf Forest are made up almost entirely of Err tree limbs and forest; however, given that it is west of the Badarval Canyon it can also get quite warm during the second and third seasons of a typical calendar year, but in the fourth season of a typical calendar year it quickly begins to get cold, especially as the leaves quickly turn purple and fall off of the trees.

During the first and season seasons of a Terael calendar year, though, is where the leaves begin to grow back, making way for a period of warming temperatures. In the year 3E 102 construction began for an underground temple to be built entirely under the foundation of the Broadleaf Forest, but in order for this to be fully realized nearly a quarter of all of the trees in a small part of the Broadleaf Forest had to be cut down to allow for a construction crew to dig underneath the surface. So, in 3E 102, after nearly two years of deforestation, a subdivision of this region was realized.

And given a name; this subdivision was simply known as Red Dawn Valley. A building was then constructed in the centre of this underground temple several years after that, and this building, known as the Hall of Decisions, was made entirely out of wood and stone. This building was also a symbolic representation of the history of the Clael clan and would also serve as the permanent new home of the Clael clan's government. Another part of this subdivision in the Broadleaf region, which was made of a variety of different stone types, also serves as a very large underground apartment block.

For a good number of kin'toni in the Clael kin'toni Clan, a very small minority of the Clael clan are refugees who were exiled from other clans. This particular section allows these refugees and kin'toni of the Clan to spend their mornings and afternoons in solitude as they sleep comfortably away from the sunlight. This section holds roughly seventy per cent of the Clael clan's total population, while everyone else is protected by the trees that shield them from the sun. Because of this, it is generally assumed that the construction of this regional subdivision was supposedly the most unique and complicated.

Of construction processes, having been completed close to years later in 3E 179. After the construction of this region was complete, the Clael clan's governmental leaders, as well as the leaders of the Neluskskel clan, gathered together for a forum on what to name this subdivisional area. Eventually, they decided to name it Rwamyr Ybys, or, loosely translated, the Rooted Abyss.

Plants

One plant in the Atyal-Lysh Broadleaf Forest is called a ak're plant, underground it has a hollow tube around 4 feet in diameter. That contains a water-like liquid that is acidic. It drags prey that comes too close into the tube, using vines. The tube is slippery and very hard to climb out of and the prey that falls in drown and is slowly dissolved and consumed. If one were to escape the clutches of the tube and its vines, however, and some have been known to escape and retreat back to their homelands, the least that they will suffer from are several stings on each limb and, in some cases.

On the face, and these stings will eventually go away if one were to avoid sunlight for more than several consecutive weeks. Another such plant that resides in this Broadleaf Forest is also an endangered plant and has been on the endangered list for several centuries. This plant often referred to as the kya'ma zaxla, is a plant that has several leaves on roughly three or four sides and is one of the most water-independent plants on this part of Terael, requiring only one watering every month. This plant is also a favoured food in several different regions in Terael.

And even has its own salad with blood sauce, which may also explain how this plant has managed to retain its place on the Endangered Plants list for several hundred years; however, despite the fact that it is an endangered plant, it also serves as a stimulant and is eatable. As a direct result, most kin'toni and zu'aan that consume even one of these plants will experience either an increase in awareness or an increase in physical activity. A third such plant, often referred to as the caf'ryt, is often regarded as one of the most abundant plants on Terael.

This plant has often been referred to as the marijuana of the kin'toni'ati world, mainly for its side effects of ego trips, hallucinations, and advanced hearing of seemingly imaginary things. The latter effect of the three side effects, however, is regarded as perhaps the only decent side effect of such a plant, according to kin'toni and zu'aan alike. The caf'ryt also serves as a depressant despite many claims to the contrary. Because of the fact that this plant is a depressant, those that consume this plant have been known to experience additional side effects.

Such as dizziness, welling up of tears, and fainting; in fact, eating too much of this plant can cause eventual loss of life. Although there are other plants that exist within this particular forest region, there were, at one point in the Clael clan's history, many other different kinds of plants and animals that lived here, making this region a former hub of plant and animal life. However, as a result of the natural disasters that transpired in the past, these plants and different kinds of animals have since gone extinct. Given that, it is generally assumed that natural disasters.

Even in the Broadleaf Forest never lead to anything good, which might often include many casualties, a partial eradication of plant life, and an evacuation of animal life, some of which would eventually get caught up in said natural disasters and perish.

Animals

One of these animals, known as the emyk, is one of the smaller large animals on Terael, being only fifty per cent smaller than the typical kin'toni. The emyk, which has a fluffy tail and droopy ear lobes that stick up somewhat when drooping down, is a strange being, with many different breeds. One breed, the zyx, has a tan fur colour and a blue face; another breed, the liwyv, has a fur colour reminiscent of a typical sunset. There are actually over twelve different breeds of an emyk, with five different breeds and approximately eight or nine different crossbreeds; furthermore.

These animals have a unique mating ritual where they mimic each other's movements before butting heads, thus making way for a conception in one of the mates. three per cent of emyks are born through a male's reproductive area, where roughly ninety-seven per cent are born through the womb. Another kind of animal that lives in the broadleaf forest ranges in size, with the males, generally standing at around ten to fifteen feet tall when standing upright and the females standing at between nine and twelve feet tall when standing upright. This animal often referred to as the yrboz, has a unique appearance.

It has the head of a reptile, a long neck, a striped body and long legs ending with hooves. Because of their unique appearance, most of these kinds of animals would have a hard time trying to reproduce, although it is suggested that they reproduce often with few babies surviving. What is also suggested is that the yrboz is supposedly one of the fiercest creatures in this part of Terael and has a fiery temper when disturbed. There is yet another kind of animal that roams the Broadleaf Forest, this animal, known as the uxnwyl, is an anthropomorphic creature with the body of a half-sized kin'toni.

Like most larger animals, their wounds and scars heal at a quick rate and can heal over a period of several hours at best. Because of that, the uxnwyl, albeit small in body size, can be found in many different regions across the Terael map and have been known to have a very varied appearance structure. There have been a few other animals in the Broadleaf forest in the past, but most or all of these animals have since gone extinct, forever lost in the sands of time. One of these animals, known by kin'toni as the qar'ay had a distinguishable appearance about it.

It had a bony body type and suffered from a distinct inability to gain muscle or water fat. Another animal, which is still living in the Broadleaf Forest as an Endangered Species. Is often known as the yzguun, or, loosely translated, the Grey Phoenix; it has a feathered set of wings with but since their wingspan is around ten feet access just flapping their wings fast enough should help them ascend from the ground.
