History

The Mos'vor Kin'toni Clan was formed after the zu'aan religious group of the same name. During the first moments of the kin'toni outbreak, their leader called Oromit, gathered the group's members on their farm, locking everyone up and protecting themselves. Oromit was a conspiracy theorist, with insane ideas and preparations for the "end of the world," he never predicted exactly the kin'toni outbreak, but the group's provisions on their farm definitely helped them. They lasted for years in their estate, expanding their houses, and they ended up with a fully functioning society.

The farm was gated and no one saw the need to leave, but for one reason; The group did not have any contact with the outside world, they could not be sure if the outbreak was over or if the world had been taken by the kin'toni. Many people in the group left behind family members because they didn't have time to escape or simply because they were not part of the religion. With time, some members started to question Oromit's way of ruling and what he called "universal truths," as one of those truths was about the world outside, telling the group that the kin'toni had taken over and they were the last existing zu'aan.

In reality, a lot of zu'aan tribes had survived the outbreak, thriving in the new world. And the worst part is that Oromit knew the truth. The leader had a specific group of members, called task forcer, chosen to execute specific tasks for him, one of those being to leave their farm and gather information about the outside world. Oromit knew there were other zu'aan, and many asking for their help, but the leader was afraid to bring more people in and lose his leadership and religion. The truth came around when one of those in his chosen group found a lost zu'aan child, wanting to bring the child back to their farm, Oromit forbade the man's actions, banishing him and the child to live in the outside world.

But, within the commotion, the other members of the task force decide to go against Oromit. The result was the truth being spread over their farm. Many members decided to leave, in the search of their long lost families. Others, who had simply given up on Oromit's ways, left to find new places in the curious new world. Yet, some people decided to stay with Oromit, but with less members and less security, the farm was attacked by one wandering kin'toni, infesting the whole group. They were able to kill that kin'toni, but not before turning into kin'toni themselves.

Therefore, nowadays, the Mos'vor group is a kin'toni clan, still under the leadership of Oromit, but with new religious views of the world. The clan still lives most of the time in their farm, leaving it in only to search for new zu'aan blood. As for the clan's background, their notion of belonging to a group is strong, even after their breakouts, the lasting members of the group, blinding trusting Oromit, remained loyal to him and his teachings. What is now called the new life of the Mos'vor was created by Oromit after a long time of dark moments and thoughts, as the group found themselves into this new form, confused, changed and abandoned by several other members, they lacked the will to live.

Oromit was able to understand their new needs as kin'toni, focusing on night-time activities and turning the life of his members upside-down. Nowadays the group is a focused and violent kin'toni clan. They are not known for leaving their estate as much as many other clans, but their are known for attracting and keeping zu'aan wanders for their blood.

Psychology

With the change from a zu'aan religious group to a kin'toni clan, the Mos'vor, ruled by Oromit, realized they were now in a position of power. As before they were simple people running from the nightmares the outside world used against them. They had now become said nightmares. And it was not a problem for the group to accept this new idea. The clan had always believed being part of their religion meant being something else, someone more important, someone that would learn the true answers to life. This belief simply evolved Nowadays the Mos'vor Kin'toni Clan believes they are a superior form of kin'toni to the others they found before.

With this way of thinking, they ended up with one of the most bizarre traditions ever seen before. The kin'toni in the clan hunt and brain zu'aan and animals for the purpose of eating. But they hunt other kin'toni and drink their blood, believing it will make them stronger. Following Oromit's new teachings, the group only changes zu'aan if they are able to show a true understanding of the Mos'vor religion. The purpose of the clan is not to grow bigger in numbers but in strength. They don't want more people from the outside following their religion, they want to be the only ones to rule the world on their own terms.

As for their times living as zu'aan, one of the big things in the clan was to procreate, having people be born in the religion, instead of coming from the outside. As kin'toni, they can't do so. Many members of the clan actually suggested they should turn zu'aan in a way of keeping with their ideas, but Oromit said it would never be the same again. Yet, he says, that he truly believes, if they keep with their traditions, rituals and beliefs, one day they will be able to give birth to a child.

Their belief nowadays is highly based on the consumption of blood, and as they see the kin'toni as the only creature at the top of the food pyramid, they believe the blood of the kin'toni is the only thing that will help them achieve their final form. For this reason, the clan will spend two months studying their area and choosing a new clan to attack. They normally kidnap a member of the chosen clan, trying to be silent and sneaky, so they don't raise too many suspicions. They appear to be a friendly clan to the ones around them, as the Mos'vor need this opening to find better ways to sneak into other clans' settlements.

Biology

As for the many years the clan spent as a zu'aan group, they grew bigger. A lot of families were able to flee with the group, resulting in children who grew up and married inside the farm. For this reason, some biological traits disappeared within the clan. The result of this social situation was a group of sun-tanned people given their daily work at the farm, with brown eyes and dark hair. With the kin'toni transformations, other physical traits became visible. The first noticeable one was the darkening of their eyes, and the most noticeable one, was the lost of their sun-tanned colour.

As the clan needed to avoid the sun, they soon became pale with fragile skin. When they became kin'toni, many of their needs disappeared, this includes eating. So many jobs were lost, as the farm thrived with their home grown food. At first, they were not sure on how to feed, and went hungry for years, giving many members of the clan a skeletal look with sunken eyes. As for the lost of their jobs, they also failed to find a new meaning in life, making many members to spend days inside their houses, morning for the loss of their old life.

Nowadays the clan can be recognized by this specific look, the sunker dark eyes, fragile pale skin and thin body type. Even if the clan does work well nowadays, as their leader, Oromit, was able to organize again their society. The Mos'vor Kin'toni Clan has another habit that completely changed their biology. It doesn't show much in their looks yet, but the clan does believe it is something that will soon be obvious to anyone looking at them. The clan believes that by drinking kin'toni blood, they will grow better, stronger, and smarter.

Nowadays it is possible to notice reddish veins on their necks, wrists and chest, near the heart region. These veins are soft coloured, and any other clan can realize what it means. This happens as their body is not fully capable of digesting the kin'toni blood as it does with zu'aan or animal blood. So the substance gathers in their veins, slowly being accepted by their bodies. No one can be sure if this mark will remain once they are truly used to drinking kin'toni blood.

Culture

The Mos'vor Kin'toni Clan seems to have two different personalities. The one they show to their neighbours and allies. The one they live by with happy smiles and thrive to be. And the second one, deeply rooted in their beliefs, is darker and scarier than the first one and can be understood by the changes the group had to face after becoming kin'toni under the rule of their leader Oromit. The culture of the Mos'vor Kin'toni Clan, still heavily influenced by Oromit's teachings, is focused on organization and community life. They kept their households and names after their kin'toni transformations.

Commonly, the man is the responsible for the household and the representative for social gatherings, while the woman is responsible for taking care of the family. These aspects evolved into the kin'toni life with the women being the responsible for draining zu'aan blood and taking care of their zu'aan prisoners. The clan tends to change between zu'aan blood and animal blood, the blood is given as a paycheck for their work in the community. Nowadays men are responsible for most of the building related works and societal matters. The clan has a monthly meeting about how their lives, which is only attended by the men.

The women who are not married nor have a father or a brother are represented by Oromit, as the final word belongs to him in all matters related to the clan. Every month, after their meetings, the men of the clan leave their farm to hunt zu'aan or animals depending on their needs for blood. Once they trap their victims, they are brought back to the farm and delivered to the women working in the main compound the clan uses for this specific work. The women then are responsible for draining and storing the blood, which is later on delivered by the doors.

Their society can be divided into three sections, the first one being the high class, commonly people with better jobs and the ones closer to the leader. This high class is composed of five men and their families, chosen by Oromit. The middle class is composed of the women who work in the blood station and their families, normally the men of these women have minor jobs, allowing them to spend more time caring for their homes. The last class is formed by the people who don't have families and are trying to get out of this class, the idea of the clan is that this class will soon disappear and merge with the middle class.

This includes single younger people, that even if they joined the farm with their parents and siblings, the position of being single gives them a place in this class. They take most of the other jobs available for the clan, like clothing making and weaponry. While talking about clothing, it is worth noticing the fine details of the Mos'vor Kin'toni Clan clothing. Oromit, as their leader, can always be noticed wearing clothes with golden details. This golden paint comes from a type of flower commonly found in the biome of their state. He is the only one allowed to use the shade of gold in his clothing.

For the rest of the clan, there is no way to differentiate their classes by their clothes, as they all wear clothes from the same fabric available to them coming from plants and animals in their region. As for colours, it is common to find the clan wearing shades of blue and green, as it is possible to find several flowers in their region that can be turned into fabric dye. As the clan tends to keep zu'aan for its blood, they also tend to hunt animals. In one of these situations, the clan created a beverage, made out of animal blood, in an attempt to make the taste of the animal blood more similar to zu'aan blood.

This recipe of them tends to mix some herbs found in the region, to be boiled with the blood and diluted with water. This drink, called sigabe, is highly appreciated around the clan and shared on cold nights around a fireplace.

Government

The government of the Mos'vor Kin'toni Clan can be called a theocracy, solely based on their religion. With Oromit as their leader and his chosen council members. Oromit is the one with the final answer, but he takes into consideration the words and opinions of his council. Besides the council, there are the monthly meetings of the clan. These meetings work for the clan members to speak with Oromit about their fears and suggestions for their home. Working with their housing and class system, it is very important that every member is heard by Oromit, as it is believed he will ponder about their matters and work them out.

As for the clan's government in appearances with their allies, they try to come out as a very open-minded group of kin'toni. They made very clear their religion and the reason as to why Oromit was chosen to be leader, but never forcing their religion onto others.

Military

The military area of the Mos'vor Kin'toni Clan can be separated into two parts. As for the first one, being the one they show to the outside world, is the more traditional view of a military force. The clan avoids engaging in combats for land, as they are contempt of their farm, but they have done so in order to make allies. Their first army is mostly made of adult men and women. The first line is by men of the last and the middle class. If necessary, half of the women from the last class will also join.

This happens because the women in the middle class are seen as highly important members of society, while the clan makes it very important to show that no one is seen as disposable, it is very obvious that the other members are not seen as high as the middle class women. Their first line is trained with combat weapons such as spears, swords and bows they make within the walls of their farm or trade with allies. The Mos'vor Kin'toni Clan has engaged only in two battles until now. The first one while defending the lands of a clan of allies against a huge zu'aan tribe.

And the second one while helping another ally clan to conquer a prosperous forest. The clan has never faced one singular loss in these battles, which reinforces the leader's idea about how special they are. As for their second army, actually called the "night army" by Oromit and the clan, they have a different function. Much smaller than the first one and composed only of ten or fewer clan members, this group is responsible for the attacks and kidnaps directed toward their kin'toni allies. This group is also the ones responsible for the clan's diplomacy.

They are chosen for being the smartest, politest and fastest of the clan, their job is to study and analyse other settlements, find ways to enter and escape without being seen, look out for the strongest members of said clans, understand their patterns and finally kidnap them without spilling too much blood and leaving any traces behind.

Religion

For the most important part of their clan, it is their religion. Something that bounded the Mos'vor Kin'toni Clan way before the kin'toni outbreaks and, as they believe, will keep them together until the end of the days. This part can be analyzed as before they became kin'toni and after they became kin'toni. The group still believes in the same pantheon of gods as before, but nowadays with some different aspects tied to the same gods. This pantheon, called Moshor, was represented firstly by the god of gods, called Voren, being the god of life.

Nowadays Voren is also called the god of blood, as the clan believes life is completely tied to what they feed on, being so, blood. Oromit is believed to be the spokesman for Voren. Not being a representation of the god on earth, but someone who can listen to what the god has to say and act on it. The counterparty of Voren is called Maneth, the goddess of death. Maneth is assimilated with the evil rooted in the earth. Before the clan became kin'toni, they believed Maneth was the one who created the kin'toni and allowed them to walk within the zu'aan, yet, nowadays, the clan believes Maneth is the one who allows zu'aan to be alive.

As the Mos'vor believes the zu'aan to be a weak plague in the land. While Voren is the father of all kin'toni, the one who blessed them with this new form of life. Maneth is not worshipped by the clan, and on every full moon, they avoid leaving their houses. As Maneth is represented by a full moon, they believe is the day Maneth is stronger and able to hurt them. For their rituals, while worshipping Voren, it's the ritual involving the blood of other kin'toni. Oromit and the council will gather with a few middle class women, normally chosen by them every crescent moon, to drain the blood of the kin'toni they were able to kidnap.

This kin'toni is then killed, and their flesh is burned in a huge fire pit in the middle of their land, while the other members gather around to put one singular piece of wood in the firepit, known to be the representation of the communal work they do for the clan. The rest of the pantheon of gods was also changed after they became kin'toni. While the god of the sun was worshipped and the god of the moon seen as an enemy, nowadays the clan prays for the god of the moon, asking for longer nights and shorter days. The god of the moon, called Reu, is now believed to be the protector of their houses, the one responsible to create the shadows the kin'toni can walk in.

And the god of the sun, called Cal, is believed to be the one who burns their skin when the light touches them, to be the one trying to enter their houses and destroy their lives. For Oromit, these gods represent what he has always believed in, a group of organized evil and good, who control and bless life as they should. No one can be sure exactly how this religion was created, if Oromit came up with or if he learned about it somewhere else, from someone else. It is a given fact that most members of the clan can't even remember why they decided to follow Oromit and believe in his stories in the first place.

And they don't even want to question it. Beliving in the logic and reasons to live Oromit gives them, helps these people to thrive in the godforsaken world their lives have become after the outbreaks.
