Nomadic clan who wander the lands, never stay in any one place for longer then two years. Excessively violent

History

Originally created by the man they now call King Nordor, he was a politician who upon changing into a kin'toni went about individually turning what he considered to ‘worthy’ disciples and his victims ranged from city dwellers, farmers, craftspeople, anyone who deemed to be worthy of his tasks, very fit, resilient, young and strong, blonde hair, blue eyes, tall and agile. He built up his clan very quickly in the early days of the kin'toni and taught them the ways of the new world as he saw it. They waged war on other clans and sought out zu'aan everywhere they could find them, mercilessly draining them of their blood in the most barbaric fashion. A nomadic clan they have always moved from place to place, never staying longer then a few years anywhere.

They would often find dwelling spaces they liked and settle there regardless if it was already occupied. Often they waged war on other clans and either took their settlements after destroying them or made them join their clan. Consequently their clan has grown in numbers rapidly over the many decades they have been in existence. They see all other clans as competition and must be either ‘assimilated’ to their own clan or destroyed. King Nordor has been the ruler of the clan since its beginning. Only once was his rulership challenged. This was during the fifth decade of their existence.

This was by the warlord ‘Cas'ter’ who was an assimilation from the Endough Kin'toni Clan. They battled for a full day with weapons of iron, as is their custom, but King Nordor’s swordsmanship proved to be too much for his opponent and with one powerful blow he smite his enemies weapon in half and cut his body in two, before ripping out his heart and setting fire to him. No one has ever challenged him again after the violent and barbaric manner in which he dealt with this upstart. Nordor was a political figure before he became a kin'toni. Always a ruthless person, who was rumoured to have murdered several other political figures who got in his way.

Becoming a kin'toni has made him even more ruthless and power hungry, an ethos he drives his clan with, thus creating a group of kin'toni as evil and ruthless as he is. They will stop at nothing to gain what they consider to be their rightful victories. They tend to stay at a dwelling until they have drained it of all natural resources. They constantly are searching for zu'aan blood, so they will move geographically to where ever they believe there to be Zuann prey to feed off. They only rarely lose a battle and as a rule leave no survivors, though they give their enemies the chance to join them, or be destroyed.

They do not build dwellings. They tend to find existing places and take them by force and use the materials as their own. They are feared by zu'aan and kin'toni, and infamous for their savagery and acts of merciless violence

Biology

Blue irises with black sclerae and crescent pupils Tall, blonde, athletic and incredibly fast and agile, they have long razor tipped finger nails which are silver. Their fangs when full are long and so sharp that they can even bite through bone. Ice cold temperature, they very rarely alter temperature, only when exposed to strong heat and direct sunlight which can destroy them if over exposed. They rest whilst sleeping upside down, usually hanging from structures which their long clawed feet hang onto. They sleep with their eyes closed but have a sixth sense which alerts them to any intruders and will awake immediately, ready for conflict, violence and murder. They are self regenerating and are incredibly fit and fast.

From a weapon wound they can heal in hours. They can only be destroyed by a penetration through their hearts. Or decapitation or by being set fire to or exposed to sunlight for longer then an hour. Their blood is silky black and flows like liquid magnesium. Their internal organs are constantly regenerating and have a rubber texture with a strange electrical energy running through them. Their brains create new cells consonantly. If they are cut on the surface you can see a yellow light from within (a form of bioluminescence, from a symbiotic lifeform)

For something extreme like the loss of a leg, this may take a month to regenerate. Their ever changing cells will restructure themselves depending on the damage inflicted to their physical form. They have an insatiable hunger and thirst for zu'aan blood and if they do not feed they become very angry and agitated and will wage war with other clans quicker then when they have been fed. Although they drink the blood of other kin'toni it does not sustain them. If they drink too much they suffer from miner hallucinations and sometimes have visions. If they go too long without zu'aan blood they become very week.

And run the risk of destruction. When they feed after a long period of abstaining they become highly energetic and manic. They are also likely to engage in violence during this period, but for fun.

Culture

They are an exceedingly violent clan and their main culture is based around the acquisition of power. They are a war driven clan and honor those amongst them who do great deeds during battles. They believe that anything they want or need for the tribe should be taken by force and that the more their numbers, the stronger they become. However only the strong are allowed to be assimilated into their clan. They also believe it is their duty to destroy the unworthy and rid the world of weak kin'toni. Being a violent clan, they love warfare, weaponry, martial arts and have a huge appreciation for the art of war.

And also value violent expertise in their fellow clan members. The strongest warriors with the largest amount of kills under their belt are ranked as high society members. They do not tolerate weakness or emotions of a more tender nature. They love death, destruction and chaos, the acquisition of power. Their cultural ethos follows ‘The Teachings of Nordor’ the religion that their leader King Nordor created at the beginning when he first created them. They have a saying, ‘Only the strong are chosen to survive’ and they live by this sentence. Their entire culture is based on war. As they gain their material possessions and goods via warfare.

They have no need to specialize skilled clans members. They feel also that they do not need to make crafts and that most items are unnecessary so if they ever need anything they will attack another clan, overpower them and take what they want from them. Although they have assimilated some clans members from other clans who have weapon making skills, they deem this to be beneath the Dynsbur Clan. They do not actively engage newer clansmembers on weapons making. They believe their time is better well spent training for war, maintaining physical fitness and looking for zu'aan blood.

They have massive egos and see themselves as masters to the rest of the world. The worthy may join their clans but the week must be destroyed. They can be selfish and believe it is through strength that you get what you deserve. They will happily fight over who drains a limited supply of zu'aan blood as they believe only the strongest get the prizes that they are deserving of. Gathered weaponry are distributed by ‘the Captains’ who are high ranking army officials appointed by the king. They have a very simple class system, with ranks befitting the worthy. The King is all powerful and all follow his word or are destroyed.

The clan is made up of warriors and through battle success these warriors can become more important in the clan. They follow the word of their King without thought as he has led them through the path of victory for many decades. The Clan is everything, just as war, victory and power are all that is important to them. They will do anything to further the clans power and infamy. They love violence and consider it art.

Government

King Nordor rules the clan and his word is final. He has created his own religion for his minions to follow his rulings by. Any who challenge him must fight to the death, where the loser will be destroyed. It is a very strong empire and the King rules with an iron fist. There are 10 ‘Army Captains’ The Army Captains were appointed by the King. They are combined military and political figures and speak on behalf of the mass crowd that forms up the clan. They tell the King of any grievances or needs they may have. Also they show the King how the armies current strength is, keep him updated on new clan members.

Their raw materials that they have access to in the current dwelling, inform him is there have been any new zu'aan sightings. They are his eyes and ears within the community. He will take council with them every day and will then make an informed decision as to appropriate action needed for inner clan trouble and also a decision as to what new goals the clan requires to continue their path of domination. There is a class system, which is made up of The Military, The Captains and then the King. Power is distributed to those who deserve it the most. Generally clans members that have shown them selves to have great strength and determination.

Warriors who excel at their craft are given the opportunity to gain rank and in very rare occasions where the warrior has proved themselves exceptionally they are given the opportunity to compete for the title of Captain. In this ceremony they challenge an existing captain to a battle to the undead. If they win, they destroy the current Captain and take the place they held, however, if they lose they are destroyed and their name ridiculed for all eternity. The Kings laws were set down as part of the religion he created , also known ‘The Way of Nordor’ Individual clans members must follow his rules or they will be destroyed.

Anyone who challenge the word of the King must do so in battle, but they must be warned, that this can only result in their own destruction, as the King is an exceptional warrior. The Clan fear and respect the King. It is very rare for someone to challenge his law making because he is all powerful and they fear destruction, but also because he is considered to be an amazing tactician and has won them many victories. The rules of the clan are simple. Fight for the clan. Be destroyed for the clan. Do not complain about others. If they ever dispute with another individual they must fight until one is destroyed, rather then complain to officials about it.

Which is considered weakness and not worthy of a warrior. The Captains will tell the warriors in their individual sectors what the King has decided the clan shall undertake each week. His commands will be followed without question. Captains have the right to destroy those who question them multiple times. Unless the person questions the king, that is. Then the Captain must forgo the right of battle and bring them to the king, however no one ever questions the king as this will result in certain destruction. The King has the power to destroy any Captain he deems to be unworthy.

In this case a new Captain is found by hosting a gaming contest between the most prominent warriors. Ten of these warriors are picked and the one who survives will have the position of Captain.

Military

The Dynsbur Kin'toni Clan are a war and military based clan so the military is highly important to them. All clan members are warriors and train every day in the use of weaponry and un-armed combat. They are skilled in long sword, short sword, pole arms, shield and martial arts. They have an extreme physical fitness regime. When at war they fight as one unit, typically they take more of an attack approach rather then defensive. They often march headlong into battle and then surround the enemy, driving forwards with an onslaught of iron weapons. The army is divided into ten components, the main factions are controlled by The Ten Captains.

There is a ranking system in the military and soldiers are encouraged to do brave and violent deeds, which rewards them with a scoring sytem that is point based. For every deed they do that shows great honor and bravery they are awarded 100 points. When they receive 10,000 points they are given a higher rank. When they have attained the highest rank possible they are allowed to challenge a Captain to combat for the possibility of winning their title in this duel.

The military ranks are as follows:

UNDERLING this is the lowest rank and held for infantry. The brawn of the army and usually sent in first to break down the walls of the enemy. They usually take the most amount of hits from the battle and are the most likely to incur injuries or in some cases, destruction.

WARRIOR These are more skilled positions in the army and are given to those who have shown worthiness in the art of killing. They typically are used as a second wave in an attack and are utilised to begin to surround the enemy after their walls and defences have been weekened. They often have a sophisticated style of fighting and a large kill count.

TROOPER These hold a higher rank and have specialised fighting skills. They also command some of the smaller portions of the army and put The Captains orders into force. They are tactical brained fighters but they do not create tactics, they merely act as go between The Captains and the ground forces. There are way too many numbers for The Captains to have an eye on everything. Troopers are trusted soldiers who have proven their worth on repeated times. It is important that they are brave, excessively violent but that they can also follow orders.

KILLERS These are unique warriors with over 200 kills, the bravest of the brave. Highly skilled fighters, always sent in halfway through a battle when the enemy are scattered and confused. They have incredible fighting skills and destroy most in their wake. Typically these fighters go on to challenge Captains. They are also well known for destroying and capturing high ranking enemy officials.

They are important warriors and are given the task of executing prisoners who either will not join them or prove themselves to be unworthy. For this clan, the military is a way of life

Religion

This clan follow the teachings of their King, Nordor, who invented his own religion. The Clan is basically a cult, who follow the teachings of their leader. Few if any ever challenge him and those who have are destroyed. He has brainwashed his followers into doing his bidding. As he has led them into countless victories and they are a prosperous tribe this is easily done. As far as the tribe are concerned. They believe the teachings of King Nordor bring great prosperity and good luck to their tribe. THE WAY OF NORDOR, as his religion is called, states that any word to come out of Nordors mouth are like gold dust to the stars.

And must be followed to the letter. He is the ruler of the tribe, self ordained and the creator of them all, their father. They are a family tribe and he is their leader. All who oppose him will be destroyed. All who oppose the clan will be destroyed. Nordor has the Clans best interests at heart. zu'aan blood is the binding force that drives the Clan. When they find zu'aan their blood is drained in a ritual called THE LETTING. During this ritualistic sacrifice the tribe bang skulls together for rythym and often fights break out between them over the rites of blood. During this time the week are destroyed.

It is considered a time of renewal and an emptying of the filthy and useless. Nordor and his religion strongly advocates the eradication of the weak. They believe in the self and the physical form rather then a higher power, however NORDOR is the word and his word is everything, as detailed out in the scriptures that he has penned. The tribe follow him and his teachings without question. His religion revolves around the acquisition of power. Those in the tribe who help the tribe family gain more power (through their brave deeds) are rewarded with higher ranking within the tribe. The Word of Nordor states that power is everything and is the binding force of the Clan.

Weakness will not be tolerated. All the weak must be destroyed as they do not benefit the clan. It is a physical religion, where there is great importance on the physical self. King Nordor is its High priest and their King and father figure. The art of war and violence and the acquisition of power are almost a spiritual ceremony to them. This is the ethos that Nordors religion follows. Destroy all who would destroy you and destroy them before they would destroy you. Chaos, madness and destruction and considered to be of high merit in this religion. The powerful are gifted with enlightenment.

The week are destroyed. King Nordor is the creator of all the Clan and the creator of THE WORD they follow and worship him to destruction and victory.
