==History==

In the year 4E 68, the Siorm clan came to fruition when two twins, a brother and a sister, both having gotten away from the [[Aw'drai Kin'toni Clan]] slavers that had turned them into kin'toni founded a clan called the Action Clan. Their real names were Zynxal and Qynxal Hywyr, but as time passed a group of kin'toni began to refer to them as Tenku and Senki, and the pseudonyms stuck. After Tharr Anaroth was assassinated, they renamed the clan the "Siorm kin'toni Clan". Siorm kin'toni clan fled to the [[S'arana Crag]] in the year 4E 135 to escape being wiped out by the other kin'toni clans during the apocalyptic times of the Shattering of the years, 4E 100 to 4E 150.

They went to the Soulless Crag because it was away from the other many clans, said to be over fifty thousand clans at the time. Only half these clans survived the Shattering. They had escaped most of the attacks by the kin'toni clans of that time. Due to the falling of the cities, starvation, disease, attacks by other clans and natural disasters they have lost over half of their clan, leaving a small amount of an already small clan. On a date around the year 4E 110, there was a battle called the "Night of Tears", that happened mostly because of a land debate that went wrong and a lack of food, but it was in part due to the greed on the Siorm kin'toni Clan's leaders.

This was a battle between the Bynysi clan and the Siorm clan on the scrublands of Zinewigar. In this battle, the clan lost around seven thousand kin'toni and the founders of the clan, only known as "Tenku" and "Senki" were killed in battle. This was a great loss and the Siorm kin'toni clan retreated from the battle. The Bynysi clan lost around five thousand in this battle. For years the Siorm clan have lived in the Soulless Crag hunting for blood and farming blood fruits, a fruit that can meet a kin'toni's nutritional needs. They have had few battles with other clans and the zu'aan, the battles are because of the Siorm kin'toni Clan raiding for food.

This had brought them the ire of other clans that have been raided. This clan now has only two hundred individual kin'toni left for several reasons. One, because of a cold snap that left most of the Siorm clan unable to cope with the freezing weather; two, as a result of not being able to reproduce due to half of the clan suffering from sterility; and, three, because of a shortage of animals as a result of the cold snap that killed most of them off in the year 4E 233, The clan is very short in numbers, how will they survive attacks by other clans that are likely to happen as food grows shorter?

==Psychology==

The Siorm clan uses strategy during battle and hunting because of their high intelligence and logic; their use of critical thinking to assess a situation also accounts for their mental strength. kin'toni from this clan is scarred by the loss of their founders because of their accurate recounts of how it happened and why it impacts them so much. At times some of the Siorm clan members will often meditate while asleep. As it helps them with being able to focus on the tasks that lie ahead during the hunt and in battle. Meditation during sleep helps rejuvenate the body and keep it healthy and young, and according to their ancestors, it almost always promotes their exterior strength and stability.

One of Tenku's greatest followers was a Siorm psychologist named Yrb Zaqr; Yrb's name is also in Ainethi, and when translated in English Yrb's name means "fight for truth". Yrb studied a wide variety of kin'toni throughout his 7,000-year lifespan, conducting many experiments revolving around the strengths and weaknesses of the kin'toni. His studies have been practised by other kin'toni clans, namely the Boughdyn clan. His most famous theory, the Cyxna Qa, translated in English from Siorm as the Universal God Effect, concluded that most of the kin'toni in Terael have a genetic connection with their ancestors.

Some of which were said to be of godlike ability. Considering how important that theory is it is also important to remember that Yrb Zaqr was also a gifted cave painter who painted pictures of the distant past, rumoured to be of life before there was life on Terael. If this is true nobody now knows. In this clan kin'toni show as traits: Obedience, or submissive compliance, is the act of obeying orders from others. This differs from compliance, which is behaviour influenced by peers. This is in turn different from conformity, which is behaviour intended to match that of the majority.

And alike of revenge (also vengeance, retribution, or vendetta amongst others) consists primarily of retaliation against a person or group in response to perceived wrongdoing. Although many aspects of revenge resemble or echo the concept of justice, revenge usually has a more injurious than a harmonious goal. The goal of revenge usually consists of forcing the perceived wrongdoer to suffer the same pain that was originally inflicted. The clan often shows emotional instability, a personality trait characterized by a lack of emotional control and emotional maturity and a tendency towards unpredictable and changeable emotions or moods.

==Biology==

The Siorm are adapted to the steep cliffs, low ambient oxygen and rapidly changing weather conditions of the S'arana Crag. They are tall, lean and wiry of build. They have long, slender limbs and a barrel chest. The elongated, highly flexible musculature and low body mass allow for incredible agility on sheer cliff faces. The downside of this is their lack of fat reserves makes their vulnerable to starvation in leaner times. The skin is tough and densely packed with thick collagen. It also has an fine, dense layer of silvery-white down-like fuzz.

The surface layer of the skin is reinforced with thickened, leather-like collagen. On the inner layer of their skin, there is an dense, fibrous layer of protein This allows them to to resist abrasive windburn and micro-tears from ice. The downside of this is the skin is much less flexible then normal skin. This leads to it being difficult and painful for them to fully bend or curl their bodies. This makes it hard to hide in small rock fissures. The hair is thick, dense and rope like, and white in color. It is concentrated mainly on the head, nape, and spine.

The air is adapted to r provides significant insulation against the extreme cold. The hair also leads to overheating in warmer environments. The eyes are pale, milky blue-grey and appearing slightly over sized. The eyes have an triple-layered tear film made of cryoprotective fluid to stop the cornea from freezing in extreme cold. The ears have small external ears of highly flexible cartilage that are close to the skull. This ears are adapted to detect the low-frequency sounds of stressed glaciers and snow cornices.

With this, they have pre-warning of avalanches. As their hearing is tuned towards low frequencies, they struggle to hear high pitched sounds. Nose is long and has an series of highly vascularized, labyrinthine passages within the septum. This allow them to warm the air they breathe. This helps protect them from the cold air. These nasal linings are very prone to painful inflammation when exposed to warm, humid air. The teeth are thick, sharp and slightly curved inwards. These teeth are adapted for cutting through hide and frozen tissue.

Their claws are curved, very sharp and adapted for clinging to rock and ice sheets. Their joints are adapted with extra-strong, interlocking cartilage cells to stop dislocations and sprains on the uneven crag surfaces. On the poles and soles, they have receptors that allow them to sense the minute shifts in rock stress and shear through pressure. This allows them to find structurally sound footholds. The low-lipid tissues have an a dense, fibrous protein lattice that allows them to retain the heat from cellular activity.

The hyper-efficient thermal retention also leads to overheating in warmer climates. They have an pressurized internal air-bladder system that allows them to maintain a functional atmospheric pressure around key internal organs. With this, they are able to be resistant to high-altitude hypoxia.

==Culture==

Their culture is very extraordinary as it pertains to talent and has even been known to draw pictures on the wall of the caves and write stories on the rocks; therefore, their home is the cave of the mountains, or, as translated in the Siorm in language, the Ugynxo Azqui, a sanctuary where they gather in a meeting for many generations to come. They see art and writing as important and keep extensive records of all different things. They write stories about the battles they engaged in and have had in the past even the loss of their two founders; they also write stories that tell about the many talents of Tenku and Senki.

Why they were able to display their talents in and out of battle, and how they managed to keep their talents a secret that they could take with them to the grave. These stories are often seen by fellow allied clans as reclusive epiphanies of a time long gone. In times of silence, some Siorm in kin'toni randomly sing Aineth songs to themselves to keep themselves busy. Some of the songs they sing are based on stories of their founders, Tenku and Senki, but other songs they sing tell of uncertainty that plagues their environment and what they as kin'toni can do to get rid of that uncertainty; in any case, these songs tell a story that is meant to entertain those that sing it.

When asleep in their caves the Siorm kin'toni will normally sleep on its stomach or its side, with one eye open and one eye closed. The one eye that stays open during sleep serves as a guide through their dream, and can sometimes be used to detect intruders or third parties. It is also important to know that when the Siorm kin'toni starts to go to sleep it can take as much as a few minutes for them to drift into a rem sleep state while waking up will take a second. In this clan, there are a lot of holidays, based on the many stories of the clan. Most last from three to five days.

A fashion from this clan emphasizes stylized, billowing gold and grey-green garments. Tops are typically long-sleeved with plunging necklines. Tights and vests are also customary. Turbans and shawls are popular accessories. Buttons and lapels are staples of the style. Blue-green, red-violet, and pale brown are also common colours. Different castes wear very different clothing. There is a lot of discrimination between the castes in this clan. In this clan it is beviled that: anyone desiring to call on the power of the land can interpret the positions of the stars in a specific temple at night in the fall

==Government==

The Siorm Empire is the government for all the Siorm in the mountains giving them order in their mountain realm and even holding meetings every occasion. They are allies of the Xalather clan and are enemies of the Bynysi clan. The government is made of different Orders that control different places in the Soulless Crag. Each Order is independent, but the leaders work with each other to lead the clan. The Siorm Society is the name of a group of hidden elite that controls the government. This government is a dictatorship and has very strict laws. It has a leader that has no real power and is just a face to follow.

They are good at responding to problems quickly, but the government is very corrupt. They can be very greedy for gems which is part of the Siorm economy. This has led to many raids and enemies from their greed. In choosing leaders for the council of the Siorm Empire, the heads of the Siorm Society will order the candidates to test their knowledge by carving a rock to resemble a picture of what they wish to do to make the clan stronger. Each candidate may choose the size of the rocky canvas in their quest for the council of the Siorm Empire, but they must be able to carry it to the podium by themselves.

Whoever's the canvas is the most convincing will be chosen, and the candidate responsible for carving that canvas will be elected to the Empire. In choosing councillors for the Siorm Society the heads of that branch of the Siorm elite will send in several candidates for a detailed interview. Each question will determine the candidate's ability to react in an orderly fashion. And the answers that the candidate gives will determine the honesty of that candidate, as well as the candidate's loyalty to the clan. Whoever is the most honest, straightforward, and loyal will be elected to the Society.

A strong influence in the military and a popular Issue is religion. The government's stability is very shaky for the Siorm Empire is falling apart as Siorm Society is divided. There are lots of rebels who want to get rid of the government, part of it is because personal freedoms are very few. Scandals are infrequent because they are hidden and foreign relations is that they are at war with another kin'toni clan. The main export is food-related and main Import is luxury goods. There is a major deficit in trade. The economic strength is stable and improving and wealth is government-controlled.

==Military==

The Siorm Military are an army of warrior Siorm who are led by Faraaku. Whenever the leaders of the clan see a threat they give the command to fight either to protect their clan or ward off the enemy when they're approaching their mountain homes. They are very good at making stone weapons either for defence or getting prey. However, they can be very stealthy when it comes to getting blood off of a living creature that lives in the mountains. The Siorm Military teaches martial arts to all that join. They are good at fighting in close quarters, but they are not as good at fighting in open places.

Like some other clans, they do badly fighting foes with ranged weapons. The kin'toni military likes to study the enemies first before attacking with stealth and strategy as tactics as it often helps them prepare for battle in a very strong and efficient way. This does not work well-fighting foes with more numbers, for they are often overwhelmed. The clan is not so good at taking hits, for they have little armour, making them need to hit fast. The Siorm Military also uses their claws for defence because their claws serve as mini-machetes and are often regarded as such because of their length and sharpness.

And for digging into their meals because their claws also serve as kitchen utensils and can potentially be very useful for eating other foods such as qwyvr (a kin'toni'ati forest vegetable). Their claws are very useful for close attacks as they can sometimes penetrate the skin of potential threats or invaders. They often exercise with their cardio-productive workouts, which involve a wide variety of stretches, squats and running techniques, and they do this for two hours, with two breaks in between. One of the Siorm Military's best and most effective workouts is the xzaryn or the wood press; in this workout.

They lift a moderate-sized log of wood with both hands on each side as they do ten reps a time for three times. This army specializes in devastating close fighters and the use of their claws. They are famous for their flashy uniforms and their overwhelming bureaucracy. Each unit contains ten elements of ten soldiers. They have a very loose chain of command, with ranks based on political connections. Currently, they are recovering from an embarrassing defeat and at the moment, they are suffering from low morale. The clan leaders have made kin'toni fight in the army without them wanting to.

==Religion==

Kesshoko is the religion the Siorm s practice; they have been practising this religion since the deaths of their clan founders Tenku and Senki some ten thousand years ago. In their ritual apparently, they use their stone tools to gather huge crystals that glow in the mountain cave. They use these crystals for religious rituals and worship because they supposedly summon the souls of fallen Siorm warriors when used right. Kesshokons believe in the presence of Tenku and Senki in their spirits; therefore, they often consider them as the main gods of their religion and can sometimes be seen praying to Tenku and Senki for guidance and strength.

It has been said that in Siorm religious culture prayer is often a way to gain faith and spiritual purpose because prayer is a common form of Siorm meditation. Perhaps the most praised bit of literature in Siorm religious culture, the Zynmx Qualozo is a book written by Tenku and Senki; it tells about the origins of Terael and how the planet itself became a breeding ground for the Siorm clan's great-ancestors, who were supposedly the first zu'aan to ever exist; it also tells about how the first zu'aan to ever exist evolved and became dependent on creating a new species from scratch.

It is essentially a tale of Terael 's first several dozen thousand years leading up to the creation of the Vampyr race. One of the caves that make up Ashtorlokya serves as a place of worship known to Siorm s as the Wyrfvaxquo, or the Church of Ancients. Deep in this cave, it is rumoured that the entire Siorm clan gathers together here to praise the celestial existence of Tenku and Senki, their clan founders, while the head preacher, or the Tyqin, reads from the Zynmx Qualozo and explains how it relates to the present day The symbol involves letters and a representation of a status symbol.

The holy colour is yellow and the religion is passed down via one holy book and some oral tradition. Their creation myth type is that of a world-parent. They say that mortals originate from fallen stars. A major myth and its symbols are the cave and the covenant. They are Deadly Sins: avarice, indifference, dishonesty and wrath and the High Virtues are loyalty, responsibility, moderation, temperance, diligence and abstinence. The associated artform is instrumental music and a coming of age rite involves personal meditation. Marriage is only between those of similar status marriage Rites are often quite rowdy.

==Miscellany==

This clan is dying out faster than normal, due to many dying in rock avalanches or snow avalanches and other natural disasters, such as tornadoes, hurricanes, or other severe weather cataclysms; as a result, the remaining few clan members that are still alive have a lot to fight for, as well as a lot to risk; however, the remaining few that are still alive are also very strong and are capable of many things. The Siorm s do have a few allies in the Minemi, Tiess, Xfaxa, and Wialshy clans as they are often very reliable to them; they meet as often as six times a year to discuss plans for survival and how to find a way to rid themselves of their rival clans.

Which include the Quarrans, Vals, Garlyths, Galroda, and Kuvesims. Their biggest rivals, the Bynysi clan, killed their clan founders, Tenku and Senki, in a battle called the "Night of Tears" some ten thousand years ago. With the dawning of a new Ice Age approaching, the entire Siorm clan is preparing for an icy apocalypse by making heavy coats made out of bamboo. These coats are often made when the bamboo is wet as it rains roughly two to three inches every two weeks on the soulless crag, and that equates to a rainstorm every couple of days, but sometimes, when it rains it can rain for close to several hours.

It is also important to know that since the "Night of Tears" incident of 4E 110, the Siorm clan has become much stronger and muscular than in generations past, and at the same time, the Siorm clan as a whole has become more obsessed with the complete and utter destruction of the Bynysi clan, perhaps to avenge the loss of their founders, who were killed in battle. The clan's flag is a rectangle with four diagonal stripes of alternating blue-green and vibrant yellow. The emblem is runes in grey text and a written phrase of "Strength and Prudence" in an ornate style.

Two of the clans holidays are Nes, a historical holiday celebrated just before the winter solstice. It commemorates an accomplishment. It is associated with peace, conversation, lust and love. It is also associated with fires. Many traditions celebrate it differently and Aelofli is a joyful religious holiday celebrated on the spring equinox. It is associated with mental clarity, a disagreement and an announcement. Celebrations last three days from dusk till dusk again. Traditions include the private exchange of compliments and contests of skill. One law in this clan is: the penalty for endangering a slave is a few months' imprisonments.
