==Geography==

The Fihenuvaran blanket bog region was well known for the presence of bogs and watery surfaces all over the region. These bogs were covered by all sorts of vegetation including many evergreen and tropical trees that grow out of the boy ground. These trees and woodlands had existed for centuries prior to the events that turned the region into a bog. They were very hardy and adaptable, and adapted quickly to the changes in their surroundings. The viscous mud of the bogs reached up to half of their trunks and their roots had to be able to process oxygen from this thick mixture. T

hese trees provided the zu'aan with reliable spots to build their structures and to take shelter on. There were many forested regions of the bog that facilitated treetop travel using solely branches to travel throughout the region. The Cnabelenus clan’s founder was known to have mastered the art of swimming in the bogs- a technique that freed him from their dependence on trees. He taught his technique among his clan to make them more deadly within their environment. These trees would become an important part of the native culture and there were many paintings and carvings of huge significance that were painted and carved onto the barks of these trees.

Conventional buildings and structures never made their way into the region because of the unreliable ground that was susceptible to cave-ins and collapse. This was best demonstrated in the Cnabelenus zu'aan clans attempt to build a city which ultimately ended in failure. The region also had many clouds of poisonous gas that were spread out all over the region. The inhabitants of the region had to discover ways to navigate around these deadly traps. These upwellings were caused by some release of gases that had been trapped underneath the bog layers that had been building up over the years.

They had a light mist like appearance and could easily be mistaken as an ordinary fog. The presence of these unpredictable spots of poisonous gas dissuaded most kin’toni and zu’aan tribes from making regular incursions into the region. This in turn had a positive effect on the native inhabitants of the region as it allowed them to develop their culture in peace. The Fihenuvaran bog region enjoyed a tropical climate with warm summers and temperate winters with lots of rainfall in between. The seasons could be distinctively divided into summer, monsoon and winter.

Summers in the Finhenuvaran bogs were linked to extreme temperatures that could reach forty-degree Celsius during the hottest days, along with the stifling humidity. The region would experience regular thunderstorms and winds as the heat created low pressure belts over the region. These winds and storms would pick up during the monsoon season, causing heavy rains. Most of the region's vegetation would bloom during this period and many new plants would begin to crop up on the surface.

The temperatures would hover in the low thirties. The In winters, the temperatures would drop to the low twenties with more calming winds and comfortable humidity levels.

==Plants==

The Fihenuvaran bogs were covered in a wide variety of tropical vegetation including large trees with giant branches and plants that protruded out of the surface of the bogs. The vegetation of the region was mostly evergreen and flourished even in the boggy conditions of the region. They were vital for the survival of the zu'aan inhabitants of the region and began to occupy a religious significance within their culture. Most of this vegetation here were all leftovers from the time before the region was inundated with water.

This region was once a tropical forest with thick vegetation at all levels including heavy shrubs and plants that covered most of the ground and the upper levels. Only the most resilient and adaptable plants survived, once the region was turned into a bog. Some of the most famous vegetation of the region included the Den'ban- the tallest and most physically imposing variety of tree in the region, the an'augh'eud- some of the oldest trees that were sacred to the natives, the Ess'os- a reed like plant that grew out of the marshes and the brucheaw- a lotus like flower with flat, rounded leaves that float on the surface of the bog.

The den'ban was one of the largest trees in the region that had a lot of utility for the native zu'aan. These local zu'aan lived on the thick and sturdy branches of these trees where they would construct small platforms and simple watchtowers. The tree could grow to a maximum height of twenty meters above the surface of the bogs and had wide spreading branches that covered a large surface area and regularly merged with the branches of a nearby tree. These branches were used by the zu'aan to travel around the region while avoiding the boggy ground underneath.

The tree was also a reliable material for the creation of the clan's wooden tools and weapons. It could withstand moisture and rot and did not crack easily under pressure. The an'augh'eud was another tropical tree of the region and were some of the oldest objects remaining in the bogs. They were fewer in number and were not used for creating tools or weapons. Instead, these trees were worshipped by the zu'aan who would carve many cultural and religiously significant murals and sculptures into the barks of these trees.

They were of smaller stature than the den'ban and had more stooping branches due to their incredibly old age. The ess'os was a common reed like plant that grew out of the Fihenuvaran bogs. They were a distinctive dull red in color and were commonly used to weave utensils such as baskets and clothing. They had very limited nutritional value and had a revolting taste that made them useful only for practical jokes. The brucheaw was a decorative plant that also produced edible seeds. It resembled a lotus and grew in large clumps that covered entire sections of the bog.

Its flowers came in a range of colors including yellow, red and blue while its flat and rounded leaves were a bright green in color.

==Animals==
The animals of the Fihenuvaran bog were a mix of tree dwellers, amphibians and mud dwellers. Most of these animals had adapted to become better suited to the boggy conditions of the region. Animals like the cetep- a tree dwelling mammal learnt to travel around the bog by swimming through it. Their movements were closely observed and adapted for zu'aan by the Cnabelenus's famous leader who pioneered this form of movement among the zu'aan. Other animals like the achar were washed into the region by the waters of a tsunami that ravaged the neighboring regions.

The mihinnal was an eel like resident of the Fihenuvaran bogs. it could travel through even the thickest parts of the mud infested ground with its snake like movement. Birds were also found in the region and were a regular source of nutrition for the zu'aan. The most famous bird of the region was the Iormi stork. The cetep was a four limbed mammal with a prehensile tail. It resided in the tree branches, just like the zu'aan and could swing from branch to branch and also swim along the bogs. It grew to a maximum height of only about three feet and weighed under sixty pounds to help them with their swinging abilities.

They lived in large communities that would take over entire trees. The animal could be very protective of its habitat and would regularly attack any zu'aan or other animal that wandered near them. Their bite could cause several different types of infection and diseases that could be lethal to the zu'aan. The cetep was a very versatile mammal and could live off both meat or fruits and nuts. The achar was an amphibious animal that resembled a hippo and could live both below the surface of the bogs and above it.

It was one of the most dangerous mammals of the region and could fatally wound and attack all kinds of animals around them. Despite their aggressive natures the achar fed only on the grasses and shrubs that grew all around the bogs. It could grow to a maximum length of over seven feet and weighed over four hundred pounds. Only the bravest zu'aan hunters went after these animals because of their physically imposing form and speed within the bogs.
The mihinnal eel was a semi aquatic animal that lived among the thick mud of the bogs.

The eel was not very large in size and could grow only to a maximum length of one meter. It fed on tiny organisms that lived in the deepest parts of the bog and did not interfere with the larger creatures of the region. However, the eel could deliver a nasty surprise when threatened. It was capable of shocking its adversaries and rendering them paralyzed for several seconds. The mihinnal was edible and was a delicacy among the native tribes here.
The iormi bird was a stork like creature with long legs that was famed for its predatory instincts.

It would descend in large flocks over the bogs where they would hunt for frogs, fishes and all kinds of small organisms that they ran into.
