==History==

The role the Emiss tribal Zu'aan serve towards Taerel is an undeniable state of resistance to many of the social ills that the very Zu'aan have come to develop in the world; this is proved by how important the sense of self-expression and concrete freedom is to the very nature of the Zu'aan's soul as a social animal. In the year of 4E 442, many, countless, and undocumented tribes had been fully war-torn by a group of enraged Kin'toni that wiped out many groups within weeks. And, a sad yet common thing in most of those tribes were the members who were often placed at their margin.

Tribal members that weren't soldiers or politicians; they were members that declared themselves, and lived the lives of, dreamers, of musicians, of people who chose to be social outcasts and, by denying the nature of the social cues of the tribe they inhabited, they were seen as an issue, an always creative and questioning mind that felt the heaviness of the world around them in a more palpable way, considering they could often express it in ways others couldn't. Many of these declared outcasts considered themselves pals and comrades of one another.

Helping each other with the crafts they were able to have developed within their years prior to the destruction of their previous homes, be it by culinary means, allowing for meals that allowed others to feast in desperate times, be it by weaving fabric together from few materials, so as to allow for winters to be more bearable, or perhaps even by their own artistic crafts, creations that could bring leisure and light for others within such a sad world.
Though, much of this sad yet hopeful outlook would take a more optimistic turn when these loose members stumbled upon the Tiar scrubland around the year of 4E 446
.

It was an extremely dry and punishing environment that these expressive souls thought they'd only roam temporarily so as to look for a better settlement; or so that was what was believed until they stumbled upon what would be described as a magical place: the pink-leafed oasis, trees that could be analogued to willows, beautiful expressions of lives that couldn't be matched in any other environment. The Emiss, avoiding much of the greed that the current world seems to reinforce, don't chop these trees down for wood.

They simply sat beneath them to rest, to help each other, and they instantly became a strong cultural symbol. Picnics were held by the sides of these trees commonly, and it seemed that these magical willow trees were able to alter much of how those Zu'aan felt and thought simply by being around them. Members of this tribe slowly went through a slow yet peaceful process that many authors find no better term to describe than a process of harmonization. The pink environment within the Tiar scrubland led to both physical and psychological shifts within the identity and functioning of the Emiss tribal Zu'aan.

Their hearts were often beating at slower rates, and aggressive instincts withered away, turning them into a simple part of the rhythmic hum of the pink-leafed oasis.

==Psychology==

The psychology of the Emiss tribal Zu'aan contains and retells fascinating notions into how serenity can dive so deep into the subconsciousness of an individual that it becomes nearly biological, tied together to the very functioning of the individual's core. This comes from the fact of how they spent so much time around the pheromones released by the pink-leafed trees around the Tiar scrubland; we see this in how the Emiss don't really function as though stressed and survival-oriented Zu'aan, such as many other examples around Taerel, instead shaping their society around communal and rhythmic peace.

The Emiss' psyche can be described as one which is soft and sweet for much of its existence, which allows the members of the tribe to develop an inherent and constant state of mild euphoria, all being a direct fruit of the trees and their peaceful behavior towards them, of course. This many times even inhibits the tribe members in things that are often linked to basic Zu'aan biology, such as their fight-or-flight response; this may make the tribe members seem a bit clueless to most outsiders, however, most of these members feel at levels way deeper than many other Zu'aan are capable of.

Though this feeling is of the constant; it exists in the now, failing to dwell in the past or long for a future. Also, something which the members of the Emiss tribal Zu'aan have come to develop psychologically is a deeply empathetic spirit, as though they were wired to the group of people they hold dearest at a fully biological level; this can be seen in how many of them feel joy simply by watching another tribe member engaging in a joyful activity. This behavior has in general also led to a consequence for the vast majority of the tribe members.

Which is a deep and undeniable sense of gentleness, which leads to actual physical discomfort for an Emiss to be mean or rude to one another, almost as though they would instantly feel the pain they cause on their friends; though, most of this comes at a very strong contrast, seen mainly by how much the members of the Emiss fear notions of silence and solitude, making it so isolation, or perhaps just being fully ignored, is a fate worse than invasions in the tribe. Furthermore, another key trait of the members of the Emiss tribal Zu'aan is their extremely resilient mentalities,.

Which makes it so their psyche often takes a quite malleable stance, being able to deal with many of the issues which come their way without clearly crumbling to any specific repetitive methods; this makes it so the Emiss often choose to value the ability to drift away from their issues emotionally until discovering they wouldn't affect them in the long term, instead of staying anchored on historical grief and allowing it to shape their mindsets. This has led to a huge cultural development due to the plurality seen amongst many of their art pieces.

All due to how this trait leads to a huge lack of stigmas within the tribe's judgment.

==Culture==

The cultural framework of the Emiss tribal Zu'aan contains within itself a vast array of vibrant and sensorially stimulating experiences which tend to find ways that allow the members of the tribe to celebrate many of the little happy moments and experiences one can have within life. Their culture is also complemented thoroughly by the nearly biological removal of aggression from the very functioning of the tribe's members, which allows for lots of expressions that focus on more harmonic topics, such as how musical the tribe tends to be, turning the everyday into a rhythmic performance of love.

Speaking of music and rhythmicality, it's possible to observe strong traits of unique mixtures of musical expressions within the day-to-day of the Emiss, considering how the tribe members often partake in rituals of synchronized singing within much of how they communicate. This method of communication follows a series of melodic and rhythmic hums that often gives the space of the tribe quite a calm yet never silent vibe; this custom has evolved beyond a simple method done for fun.

It is something seen, culturally, as a practice that allows for the tribe members to keep their heart rates fully synchronized, leading to a village which is healthy by being in harmony. Their social etiquette also follows many norms that display their healthy yet undeniable obsession with dining in groups; this comes from how the members of the Emiss tribal Zu'aan treat food and meals as sacred parts of the social contract necessary to keep their tribe within the peaceful style they have managed to achieve.

These meals are often held in small-styled picnics under the canopies of the willow trees, something which also extends to how the tribe sees the notions of territories, shaping their microphysical observation of power structures; to put it in simple terms, instead of using fences or menacing walls, territories are marked by brightly dyed woven mats, prettily placed as though it simply marked the spot for a couple's picnic. Furthermore, much of their aesthetic style and values follow pastel ideals of artistic mannerisms.

Where productions are made softly, gently, all to reflect how peaceful the tribe has managed to make themselves; this is seen, for example, in much of their clothing, where fibers are drawn from the willow trees and combined with other shades of pink dyes so as to create many different sets of flowing and layered clothing that prettily mimics the beauty of falling blossom leaves, leading to adorable clothing that not only acts as charming and striking displays of the Emiss' unique beauty.

But, due to their layered nature, allows for a fair and undeniable protection from both the cold and bruises that may come from falls.

==Government==

The government form of the Emiss tribal Zu'aan operates as an extremely pure and decentralized style of democracy, one so libertarian in its nature that it negates many notions of creating a state as a means to regulate society and their interactions, something justified by the fact that many members of the Emiss tribal Zu'aan tend to function in almost a fully synchronized state with most of their pals, a fruit of the pheromones spread by the pink-leafed willows; thus, this allows for the destruction of formal political machines.

Replaced by a series of mutual and communal consensuses, a structure where power is fluid and obeys the harmony the members of the Emiss have developed. The highest representation of head of government doesn't follow structures which hold onto authoritarian political reign, such as would be an official office or perhaps a throne; instead, the center of government is quite literally the physical center of the tribe's social structure, those being the members who are able to act as a proper glue in between many of the contrasting personalities that may emerge within the Emiss tribal Zu'aan.

Members who are deeply empathetic and that hum the sound of a social compass for those who struggle with all the challenges, while also being a proper signal for the tribe and the current well-being of the day, being almost like a weather app for today's current mood. The few matters given to legislative measures are oftentimes simply woven into some of the bridges the tribe has come to build as a means to get across rivers and whatnot; this makes it so the tribe lacks a properly written constitution to establish and display the base laws of their government.

But it's not something done from authoritarian means, instead following a simple disregard for taking politics as a necessary thing. These notions of taking governance as a casual matter are further developed within their society by the lack of official media outlets, with most updates to laws or reinterpretations of policies simply being told either by normal conversations or spread in small notes placed around crucial day-to-day places, such as the aforementioned bridges.

Furthermore, the Emiss tribal Zu'aan contain within their political structure a series of mediative forces responsible for interpreting matters of conflict and abuse of the political and/or the social structure, though it can't be fairly comparable to what is seen in many other tribes' judiciary branches. Instead, clashes between the individuals within the tribe are done in matters that not only don't follow a set law structure, but are also extremely anti-punitive, often handled through means of psychological rest.

Where these clashing members are sent to the places in the oasis seen as crucial for resting, where peaceful music and a plentiful amount of snacks are given to them until their matter is slowly settled within harmonic means, slowly allowing for both parties to calmly begin to breathe in sync once more; many times, the verdict simply becomes when the two parties agree to simply leave the oasis and go back to day-to-day life.

==Military==

The military forces of the Emiss tribal Zu'aan avoid the traditional method recalled as a means to building up an armed force, something that they justify by the fact that they are socially wired to avoid any development of aggression within their very self; this lack of aggressive capability makes it so they don't seek out to build any sort of war machine. Instead, the focus of the Emiss tribal Zu'aan is designing many different means for traps and psychological defenses that prefer to attempt to confuse and exhaust any of the enemies who choose to attack the tribe.

Sometimes even taking measures to make it so the attack seems unnecessary. The primary means for defense that was developed by the Emiss tribal Zu'aan is formed by a series of fighters who don't take their stands within heavy pieces of armor, instead following choreography and artistic training, something which leads them to focus on high-speed and synchronized movement, all for the purpose of swaying enemies as they approach for hours on end (something complemented by these fighters' extremely high stamina).

Culturally, these fighters also hold the value of being able to properly mimic the smooth and trance-like movement of the pink trees the tribe has, all for the purpose of creating a dizzying visual effect that messes up the enemies' ability to coordinate. They also have learned to utilize many of the pheromones of the trees as a means to ease attacks, though it is a tactic more effective against rogue Zu'aan than it is on Kin'toni; this functions by them taking the pheromones of the pink trees and holding them in their pollen form within pouches.

Which is then often concentrated to be stronger and even fermented in some stronger doses. When threats are detected, these clouds are released into the wind, or even thrown directly within the nostrils of enemies, all with the purpose of acting like an extremely powerful peace-inducing sedative, which makes invaders do things like dropping their swords, just sitting down, walking back the way they came, or even falling into deep, dreamless naps, all before they're able to reach any of the central areas of the tribe.

Other than these direct tactics that are made to function within direct confrontation in a battlefield, the members of the Emiss tribal Zu'aan are also extremely clever in the manners in which they engage in psychological warfare before the potential invaders have any chance to breach the defenses of the tribe; this is done via the means of creating walls of "scary" crafts all around the outskirts of the tribe, these scary crafts that fully contrast most of the aesthetic dynamics of the tribe, which may hand-craft skulls to place on spears, or perhaps even create fully designed monsters, all for the purpose of scaring the enemy before they have the chance to harm anything.

==Religion==

The religion of the Emiss tribal Zu'aan operates as a web of spirituality that allows for an extremely non-rigid method of connecting with other individuals and developing faith that allows the members of the tribe to develop trustful relations and achieve separate stages of peace within their journey in emotional well-being; this religion is centered entirely around the concept that all living things are fully interconnected within cosmic threads of tapestry, which makes all of what is alive vibrate together within a single song that plays for all of the known eternity.

This opposes itself to many religions by not placing faith specifically into a distant God, choosing instead to worship the harmony that exists between living beings and the physical space they inhabit. The core phenomenon which explains the theology of the Emiss tribal Zu'aan is one which centers itself around the belief that the universe didn't begin with any sort of pre-human, all-powerful creator, neither did it begin with a bang, but it came from a singular note that was once made from nothing and began the primal movement necessary for the development of existence as Zu'aan now know it.

This initial note, known as the Yorawo, is seen as the one responsible for setting up the tune in which the rest of existence would play in, something that would act as a preventive measure to keep the universe from falling into discord. This religion, once more avoiding classical concepts, doesn't have a heaven or a hell, instead seeing a plain and blissful existence to be the one that lives with symphony, being harmonically loud, with the opposite being the misery of silence. The living icons that are seen as the materialization of this divine notion are the scrubland's iconic pink-leafed trees.

Which is one of the reasons that creates the tribe's extremely intimate relationship with those trees, seeing them as divine ancestors of the very air they use to breathe; this is often seen as a means to classify the pheromones spread by the trees as if they held the healing, caring, and loving properties of the living spirit of a protective mother, making it so many members of the tribe see the pink-leafed willows as proper members of their very families.
This worship isn't purely symbolic or done within their day-to-day lives by taking care of the vegetation and living around the spaces which the pink-leafed trees occupy.

Since, just like many other religions, the Emiss tribal Zu'aan also developed their own manners around prayers to show their gratefulness to the trees. This prayer is extremely inspired by the musicality that the tribe brings from both its psychology and its culture, allowing for a series of deep hums to take place, which is done to not only show appreciation within a symbolic note, but to also mimic much of the appreciated peace brought by the trees and what they represent divinely.
