==Geography==

The fact that water is slightly harder to come by in the Badarval Canyon is because it is not as present as in other places. Nevertheless, the water source comes from an everflowing river that flows through the Badarval Canyon. This river, referred to commonly as the Zoxo'aar, is one of the longest rivers in Terael, spanning over a few thousand miles in length. It is the main water supply for the Neluskskel clan, who also considers the water to be spiritual and, in their own words, 'holy'. Needless to say, the Zoxo'aar, which is said according to legend to never run dry.

Unless no precipitation falls for over a month, is considered to contain the healthiest animals in the region, including the dolphin-esque Caacro. Some of the Neluskskel kin'toni manage to stumble upon caves to hide in during their night hunt when trying to avoid predators, and in those cases, it is generally believed that the Neluskskel kin'toni can, in some cases, be the prey rather than the predator. These caves that a Neluskskel kin'toni has the option of choosing to hide in, referred to by the Neluskskel kin'toni themselves as 'haezpo' caves, are usually large in size and diameter.

But also have entrance ways that are just big enough for a Neluskskel kin'toni to enter through. Another place in the Bloodriver Canyon region is referred to by the Neluskskel kin'toni as the Coaen Aaien, or the Church of Gratitude. The Church of Gratitude, which is located in the southernmost centre of the Badarval region, is a rather large temple that is located right at the bottom of the canyon; this place, which was rumoured to have been built by members of the Neluskskel clan over a period of several thousand years and can hold up to a few thousand kin'toni.

Neluskskel kin'toni of all religious backgrounds come here to pay tribute to their clan founder and their ancestors of the past through sacred worship and a solemn prayer to their ancestors, who supposedly can only hear the prayer if it is done in song. Other places of note in the Bloodriver Canyon include the Aazrvo, which contain the aazrvo for sleep and preservation. As well as the Giant Crater, or gu'ncryn, which was supposedly the result of a meteor hitting the Bloodriver Canyon before the rise of the kin'toni and is considered a modern marvel in the present day.

There are also several lakes within the Badarval Canyon that are either tied to the river or independent areas of development, but the lakes that aren't tied to the rivers are either polluted due to toxins or corrupted as a result of it not being livable for marine life. On a side note, there is a lake tied to the river known as the Ynwyr where a myriad of marine species lives. This particular lake is also home to an urban legend that was created by a group of Neluskskel kin'toni several thousand years ago known as the Cazriil Curse.

==Plants==

There is only some moss on the rocks of the canyons, but there are small plants growing in the bottom of the canyon, where water flows. These plants, all of which grow at the bottom of the canyon, all depend on the river that flows through the bottom of the canyon in order to survive. These plants are rumoured to be the lifeblood of the canyon as without them the rivers and lakes cannot flow. One of the plants at the bottom of the Bloodriver Canyon, referred to as a nea'zlu, has a unique quality about it that allows it to withstand most torrents of rain without uprooting.

The Nea'zlu also has a unique way of blooming during the summer seasons. But as the Neluskskel kin'toni s bathe in the water they always make sure to water the nea'zlu before drying off to prevent the nea'zlu's untimely decay. According to some kin'toni watering the nea'zlu once or twice every day with the river water helps it grow from a small plant to something quite a bit bigger; others dispute this claim, suggesting that the plant should be watered twice a week since it is so close to the river. However, there are others who have added to this claim in the past.

Suggesting that the more you water the nea'zlu, the bigger it will get and that if you water it often enough the nea'zlu can grow to such a large size that it becomes a 25 to 30-foot tall tree. There is another plant of important note at the bottom of the Bloodriver Canyon referred to by the Neluskskel clan as the uma'rypu, or the poison plant. In some of the caves, one keeps a poison plant on him or her while in one's cave to protect the cave from any intruders. The poison plants are not very big in size when it comes to the root structure, but the leaves are suggested to grow a good amount.

When it reaches full size. Most of this plant's root is entirely stem, but a little bit of soil from the ground can often prove to be significant in the plant's growth because, according to kin'toni and zu'aan alike, the soil can merge with the plant, thus creating a foundation for the plant. Other plants of importance and further note include the gynqia, which is of regular size and can grow for up to ten years after sprouting from a seed to a root structure, albeit at a very slow rate, the bzaroqze, which also has the smell and taste of cashew, and several other plants.

That is also classified by the Neluskskel clan as being endangered and in danger of going extinct. Most of these plants that are found at the bottom of the Badarval Canyon can also serve as delicious vegetables if they are picked at the right time under certain circumstances, but some of these plants, including the nea'zlu, have a bitter taste and take a while to fully mature.

==Animals==

Like the nearby Ghost Caves, it is known that cave worms that are used by the Neluskskel kin'toni Clan for food and clothing live there. There are wovocs, large winged birds used by the clan to make wing extensions for their own bat-like wings. When the wovoc takes flight and flies it is often suggested by kin'toni'ati legend that these winged creatures will begin to shed many feathers as new ones grow and take their place. As a result, they hide in these caves to avoid one of the largest animals in this part of Terael , known as the aazrvo.

Most aazrvo, however, are supposedly harmless and wouldn't harm a fly, but the Neluskskel kin'toni is mostly aware of these beasts and do everything they can to avoid them at all times. Another animal in the Bloodriver Canyon is also a type of animal that is also on the kin'toni'ati endangered list; this animal, known as the eaza, has a unique appearance, looking a little bit like an iguana with a dog's head. It is fairly small, but not too much so, and when the Eaza mates with another of its kind, they often can reproduce and have been known to mate in the style of interpretative dance.

Female eaza, known as svar, can give birth as soon as approximately eight weeks after they initially mate, but they have been known according to Vampyrian records to give birth as late as three months, in which case newborn Eaza are generally born more grown. There are also animals that live in the caves of the Badarval canyon. One of these animals, the wzksaia, is about three-quarters of the size of a kin'toni and often serve as the Neluskskel clan's servants, going to such lengths to help them out after much training. Another such animal that lives in the caves alongside the Neluskskel kin'toni is known as a junsjfa; these animals are not as big as the wzksaia, but they have been known to steal some of the Neluskskel clan's food.

From time to time if given an opportunity to do so. All of these different species of animals, some of which live in the caves with the Neluskskel kin'toni and some of which have been known to steal each other's food on occasion, are for the most part considered to be wild animals and are better suited for life in the wilderness, but these animals were trained by the Neluskskel clan specifically to serve them; given that, it is important to remember about how vital these animals are to a Neluskskel kin'toni's existence, especially when one considers how these animals have served.

Many as sacrificial lambs of some sort. Even so, these animals are also disciplined with the highest form of companionship since most of these animals are loyal to the Neluskskel clan.
