History

The origin story of the Kinhathin tribal zu'aan usually seems to be dated back to around the year of 4E 42, displaying an extremely capable yet undeniably stubborn origin story based around survival and a people's overall refusal to allow themselves to be broken even though they live within a world that they themselves consider to have already been shattered. All leading to the telling of a tale that is extremely pragmatic within its nature, focusing on the necessary and cold iron that military might presents itself within history.

The lineage this tribe possesses traces way back to an extremely unique military unit from a now-destroyed massive tribe; this unit was named after one of the oldest families which had commanded the unit over a couple of generations, thus, leading to the name of the Kinhathin Regiment, an army that was stationed in quite an important choke point within the At'ris region, responsible for both overseeing logistical transportations that might come in between different zu'aan tribes, attempting to practice trade and commerce, or by kin'toni clans that may attempt to raid these units or attack the zu'aan looking for trade opportunities. This army kept itself stable for a plethora of years to come, facing their occasional casualties that the challenges of the Shattering Age presented, but never with a conclusive enough attack to wipe them out, or so that was how history played itself until up to the year of 4E 42.

In such described year, a huge kin'toni group began to rush within the region; their attack was quick, yet extremely sized and well-coordinated, allowing them to push roughly through the region, which basically allowed them to not only trample many of the resources within trading routes and the At'ris region, but to fully cut out the entire Kinhathin Regiment from the tribe they used to serve, which isolated them from any command centers or access to supply lines. The Kinhathin were offered many opportunities to fully escape, even by some of the governing forces of their old tribe, considering that they were some of the most honorable warriors and were deemed worthy of escaping and living on their own; however, it was exactly in moments like this that the Kinhathin displayed how unique they are.

As the chokepoint the Kinhathin defended slowly turned into a tomb, the members adapted, and turned their history into one of constant fighting, even renaming the region they lived in, that, after going through extreme changes due to the constant warfare, was now named the At'ris Battleground, where they live under constant pressure and fighting, believing to be acting as a wall between kin'toni and zu'aan.
